Man the contractors I work with would've been pissed cussing and yelling if the concrete went over the form.
right on! and hand you walking papers to boot
Concrete guys are super sensitive and most of the time insecure so that's why they think they have to yell and get pissy
I feel better as a rookie after seeing this pour

My four-year-old boy and I watched this together after I was telling him about how I used to pour concrete. He's playing with his toy cement mixer right now. Thanks for putting this online!
Ditto!!!! 💙💙💙
So, I’m a preschool teacher and I showed this to some of my students because we were talking about simple machines and construction. Three of them have decided they want to work with cement trucks because it looks so cool! X3
:). Don’t ever take your job for granted. What you do is important. Those children need solid foundations. Thanks for the comment 😊
tell them to research front loader trucks... much safer, more comfortable in inclement weather, and all wheel drive...rear loaders suck...
@@jimburdin uh no fronts suck. If you slam your brakes concrete will pour out on your windshield.
good video but ditch the music...i like hearing the truck sounds
Gotta love all these experts in the comments... to bad they weren’t there to help y’all do it 😂 guess they was to busy searching UA-cam to tell other people they were doing it wrong!
lol. I'm used to it. They do everything they attempt with perfection.
Where is the power scrette
Well with 20 years in construction that's a hell of lot of work for 3 guys, should have done it in two pours or 1 with at least 6 men.
I wouldn’t let these guys pour my water
It was raining when they poured my garage floor too. Something about rain and pouring concrete that seem to attract each other😄 Excellent job on that floor! They did really good!
Thanks for taking the time to watch and make the comment. I truly appreciate it! Have a good day.
The older white truck didn’t spill a drop. Great video, very satisfying
Ok he added water now we’re pouring Crete baby. That jobs taking several trucks.
Hard hat required every time you jumped out of the truck 😂😂😂
Thanks so much for making and posting this video! Got to show my toddler son how his toy cement truck would work in real life! My dad hauled concrete and asphalt my whole life, thanks for working construction! 💪
Thanks for watching!

Cleanest cement truck ever!
I know right👍
My 3-year-old almost watched this entire video lol. Kids love trucks!
Oh My God!! It only gets better watching the screeding show!!!
Years ago we had a farm and we poured many slabs, while we were never pro's we got a little bit better at finishing the concrete with each new pour. And now forty years later that concrete is still there. You guys did a nice job on this huge slab, thank you for sharing it with us.
That is awesome! Thanks for watching!
Regardless of how pretty the truck is anytime you talk concrete you're talking hard work and that slab you completed looks beautiful I love it
Thanks for watching 👍
Mine was pretty for about 2 months. Now, just looks like a mixer truck.
That was one of the wettest pours I have ever seen. I would not ever hire someone like these guys. WOW
If anyone is ever hunting good cement guys ,,,,,,,,,ya'll dont have to worry !!
There's nothing scarier to me than a brand new truck lol. You just know it's a matter of time before something happens.
Who is driving that cement truck what a rookie!
Is that a pneumatically powered chute stopper for stopping concrete flow on wheelbarrow jobs?
Those big machines always fascinate me on how they help do the jobs. I know life would be difficult without them.
I know. Makes it easy on the back
@@HamiltonvilleFarm Yes it does lol
I drove for thirty five years drove rear loader for twelve years and front discharge for the rest of my time and there is no comparison front discharge all the way
@@paulmarkley5617 Right!! I cannot believe rears are even a thing anymore!! Fronts are SO much easier for the crew and way more efficient!!!!
The song is goated
New truck and a new crew.
Looks like that crew's very first pour, too.
Hope there was fiberglass in that concrete. I didn't see any wire or rear.
Nice-looking truck.👍
Australia has best concrete trucks
Saludos cordiales amigos desde Chile 🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱 yo trabajo en pavimentos también pulidos con alisadoras exelente vídeo👍👍👍👍👍
going by this speed, a fortune.
I love that brand new Western Star rear discharge concrete mixer truck!!!!!!
He pouring that concrete way to fast lol 😂

What are u guys doing !! 😂😂😂😂
2:56 THERE IT GOES!
I gave it a like as it ain't no ones fault to not know how to pour cement. I was green also but being under a man who had been pouring mud for about thirty or more years you do get smarter quick if you listen close. I didn't see any wire or rebar in the slab an its only a four inch pour at best with spots that are a bit less I suspect. Thats a whole new concept to me.. must be a lot of fiber in it. Since it is getting colder nights, I would guess extra lime as well. I never saw any joint reliefs either so I am guessing its on some real hardpan and never feels a quake that will crack a floor so fast. Hard work for anyone.... no socks an boots that are two or more sizes too big and blisters in the night after for days. My feet are still feeling it at 73 and I haven't been in the mud for ten or more years.
Thanks 👍
By the second truck they got their act together💪🏾
My toddler is o b s e s s e d with this video. Thank you 🙌🏻
👍👍
Word of advice on the next pour, Go and find some help.
U GOT THAT RIGHT
Nice to see new truck and water system leaks bad 🤣2nd If you had Wally there that Damm mixer would have been making concrete 😁
2in. slump concrete won't come down 3 chutes...😂😂😂😂
That concrete looks like its already setting coming down the chute.
That truck is done after that day lmao 😂
See truck driver with no experience 😢
Nice job fella. 👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
Thanks buddy 👍
This was like watching concrete dry 😂😂😂
LOL. I tried something new!
Added all company factory equipment brands in India🇮🇳🇮🇳added
brand new mixer .. i would have that 3M chip guard film all over the back end to protect it from splashes.
Thanks for watching
Just use a brush while rinse down problem solved
They made it look so difficult and it's really not that hard to do I guess you just got to know what you're doing enjoyed the video though thank you.
Nothin Like Pourin Hot 'Crete!!!!!!!!!
Excellent ..... not much slump in that batch; no 'self leveling' on this job!
Edit: well, it started out nice ..... turned into soup pretty quick; too bad .......
Wow. No talking.. very satisfying
Lol. Tried something new.
Just got home from work showered relaxing on the recliner with supper and me and the wife are getting ready to watch our favorite youtube channel!
Lol. Thanks Bob. Have a good day 👍
It always amazes me how they can get such a nice smooth surface finish.
must be their 1st time too
U.s ka system bohot achha hai
Big concrete truck
Last one for tonight brother, gotta catch some zzzz's. We've recently poured 50 yards at my place, 10 in the footer and 40 in my walls for a new foundation. 9 ft basement walls. Still have to pour the floor yet so don't know how many that will be. Most trucks around here unload from the front. The driver that was here for the footer had a big set of coconuts on him. I couldn't believe how close to edge he got with that heavy truck. If the dirt would've caved in it would have been a mess. Catch up on more tomorrow.
Thanks for watching 👍 get some sleep 🙂
Beautiful truck but it went from a too dry slump to a way to wet slump. I miss concrete work but it was fun but one of the reasons I have rods on my spine.
Yes I noticed that, also. In the early 80’s I drove mix truck in Buffalo and Gillette Wyo. residential, commercial and poured slips for load out silos on coal mines. Pouring Buckskin Mine I had a brand new Kenworth. I wanted to make a great big cake in it before the first concrete use. I got a big fat no from the powers to be. I thought it would be great publicity ✌️
power trulling in flip flops now i have seen everything was he on bonehead truckers😂
I've seen a lot of concrete pours in my years, but I don't think I'd want this crew pouring any for me.
Mixer is just like the one I drive everyday. That control pad on the back is nothing but trouble! Mine ended up being sent back to the factory and converted to wireless remote. Other than that the Beck mixer is ok but I still prefer McNielus.
Hi Hank. Good to see pouring concrete undercover whilst it's raining.
Definitely didn't plan that! 😂
That sure is a nice looking pole barn Hank. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Steve 👍
Apik tenan iki bos
That was awesome to see the new concrete truck. Awesome video👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching 👍
@@HamiltonvilleFarm Ош
look how easy it is while were i am we still mix by hand and have to carry them in buckets
Good old self-leveling concrete..... no re-bar so just nice to crack in no time.
Nah
been pouring slabs at my farm with concrete like this with fiber for years, no cracking,
Yes sir
These days there’s lots of fiber additives that replace rebar. Educate then comment.
And concrete with rebar never cracks LMFAO
водички добавил и работка понеслась, прям как у нас)
Nice mixer. Very cool 👍👍
Holy water pools!
truck mixer di luar negri bersih semua, di indonesia karatan dan penuh beton
good video
super job ,bravo a toute l 'équipe ..
Doesnt matter how new is the truck experince its alway what gets the work done
Good job 👍👍👍💖
That slump looks about a 3 very thick. Definitely not a 4. It looks very rocky.
They had it at a 3 but wet it up to a 6...
Good job my friend!
How much concrete did you use? Was it 4in or 6in. I'm planning to do a similar project and your video helps. Thanks 👍
They have no idea... they didn't do a slump test..
No need for stacks on the bulkhead just lay it down and back fill it
My preschooler loves your concrete videos! What are the background songs used in this one?
Good job 👌👍🤙
Thank you! Cheers!
That is a nice mixer.😎
Hey Hank Hamilton the guy on the chute should have told the driver to pull forward a little bit cause you go from left to right and, righ t to left tell the driver to go forward a little bit tell the driver to stop
good
It brings back good memories for me you see somebody pour concrete because my father down there all the time that just brings good good memories give me thank you God bless the wonderful family in Jesus name God bless everything with you do in the name of Jesus Angel farm
great video buddy 😎👊🏻👍🏻
Thanks for watching 👍
@@HamiltonvilleFarm no problem 😌
Hai, concrete mixer mania
Nice
waoo keren bangrt pasir nya
Ya would rather hear the sound of the concrete truck than the music
Yes to dry and no reinforcement its going to crack
We'll see
@@HamiltonvilleFarm yeah rebar crossed and tied with wire would have been good
I worked in health insurance for 10 years. Everyday suit and tie.
Then one day I lost my job. I went and got a class a license but I find a ready mix job. Loved it. Been doing it for about 3½ years now. Making much more now and way happier. It's such a peaceful job as long as you get your rest. The hours we put in are recidulous sometimes.. But we got a raise recently so nobody's ever gonna complain about hours.
I'd say on average we work about 11-15 hrs a day. Six days a week
For everyone screaming about there being no rebar, do some freaking research! There have been lots of advances in concrete technology since your daddy taught you how to do it 40 years ago!
Good compaction, fiber additive and control cuts and this slab will be just fine.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiber-reinforced_concrete
I'm used to it. Everybody is a keyboard expert. Not only about the advances, but a lot gets tossed in editing. This was an all day project squeezed in to 19 mins. I appreciate the comment. Thanks for watching 👍
@@HamiltonvilleFarm not to mention that you're in Florida with virtually no frost to worry about. Looks like a great slab.
NO KIDDING BROTHER LOL
When I did concrete we always used wire and rebar, my boss also refused to pour a monolithic slab... BUT we were also working under Nashville codes. Only thing I would have personally done differently is used a screed to surface and laser transit for grade but that's just how I was taught to do it.
I used to drive those trucks, that must been a rookie driver. I would have helped the finishers better than that. Thats some hard work to.
He was the rookie. The senior guys said they didn't want the new truck. Lol
@@HamiltonvilleFarm lol thats at every ready mix plant including us 😂
Why?? The finishers sure dont help me wash out or anything......
@@craigmcfadden6538 cause it helps build up business and it help me new was of working the cement when i do jobs at home or friends.
super cool👍
Dry then portage. Butcher. Wilping10inch slump. Rough mix
Big fan
Good job on the concrete pour Hank. I have helped on a few. Always hard work by everybody. Take care catch you on the next one.
Thanks Jim. I appreciate you watching
No rebar, no mesh, nothing holding the concrete together. Fired.
I agree Mark b!!!
I can notice that, we use the same sigs, very simple probably around the word is the same.
