- If you're new to COD, or a little rusty, please believe me when I say that Private Matches against Bots are an excellent tool to help you learn the different maps, modes and best weapons for you, without having to jump into sweaty public lobbies.
I recommend that new players and beginners spend a considerable time playing against easy bots to also help improve their weapon speed & accuracy, and also in this video I share the drill I use too.

Absolute legend! Been a gamer for years but never touched COD multiplayer because there's no easy way to learn without getting destroyed or abused.

@@TaZ-VR-RR Or they can add a four-player splitscreen where four human players each have command over two six-man squads of AI and they fight for control of the map. They could also go the Titanfall route and add NPCs to shake things up. That'd be awesome!
Good info man. Haven’t played cod in a very long time. Just getting back into it and I’m not gonna lie, it’s very daunting at first. So much stuff to remember and get used to.

Thanks man, I'm an older dude that just bought a PS5 for my daughter and I. I don't know the first thing about it as my last system was P1 with Mortal Combat about 30 yrs ago. I want to practice so I'm not the guy that noone wants on their team. After one day of running with Bots, my game play is so much better! Thanks again! I would have never figured this out without your tutorial!

I use bot matches as practise, training for actual pvp matches.
I use same settings as in an online multiplayer games.
Best to set bots slightly harder tho, else u wont improve if ur up against easy bots.
@RYTHAM its at the end of the quick play, 3rd person moshpit menu.
At the end it says private match.
Once in there, theres start and game set up.
Go into game set up, u can set ur game type, ffa, tdm, domination etc, choose the map and bot set up.
I usually have 2 enemy bots against me.
But last night i did a domination game, 3 enemy bots and 1 friendly bot.
Try n manage with bot difficulty on normal at minimum.
Do you need a PlayStation plus subscription or just access to internet to play multiplayer with bots?
I enjoy playing bot matches and it certainly makes you a better player over time. In fact i think it's the best "Aim Trainer" you can find.

I wonder can you unlock with bot or it require multiplay only ?
I have social anxiety and I'm too scared to play with real people. This will get the edge off I'm pretty sure. Can't wait to try it out ^^
Thank God everything is unlocked for private match. That's the reason I stopped playing cold war. I don't have time to unlock everything and grind out. I hate playing public matches (yes I'm bad at fps games I'm aware). So it's immensely helpful to have all the stuff from the start like in MW 2019

I don’t get how you have everything unlocked in your gunsmith. When I go in, everything is locked and all I can change is the receiver. Why would all mine be locked but you can use anything?
Set up a bot match last night, couldnt bring menu up to quit tho, had to close game and restart!
Apparently theres a fix on the way for that issue!
Bot setup only lets me add 6 bots max but sometimes it randomly adds 10 bots in the lobby to free for all matches. How do I replicate this to always have 10 bots in the match?

Is so annoying that infinity ward just makes 6 v 6 on bots in private match since infinite warfare 😡 in gohsts there were 9 v 9. Even in vanguard what was release after mw 2019 it was 9 v 9

Hell yeah
I'm certainly going to do this also, however I'd like to save that for when (and if) they release a fix to add all the base maps etc, rather hit all the birds in one go if you will.
Force same loadout sadly isn't loadout restrictions so you can't CONTROL what it is.
It basically gives every player the same random loadout (think like Gunfight off MW2019)
and yes the bots adhere to it too, sadly you have no control over WHAT loadouts are used.

@@jacksaints1 correct, majority of COD games don't actually offer this, and there is only two games in the series where you can turn off custom classes, set default classes AND the bots ahere to it.
Those games are Modern Warfare Remastered and Advanced Warfare, one of the best custom game settings as you can set sniper only matches or have assymetrical teams like shotguns vs smgs

Be aware, that right now the OFFLINE multiplayer is severely lacking, it only has 3 maps, 1 mode and zero create-a-class features.
You have to be ONLINE to get the full set of maps.

Even though tdm is my mode, I'm pissed I don't have my oni operator - the reason I spent the 70 to preorder, no create a class, and only 3 maps. Even though I liked all of them, and have nuked, all but raceway. That's what I'm trying for now, running that default class with the vector, scavy, fast hands and resupply box. And I hate the score streaks they give us.
Hopefully they patch it sooner than later.
Love the gunplay, that's why im extra heated at this ridiculous oversight.
@@officialSTR1FE I certainly would like to see all operators, but with respect I think cosmetics and operators are the last thing that should be of concern as they don't add any core gameplay value. I'd certainly love them all in there too.
I personally preferred the MW1/BO1 days where your class of weapon is what deternined your characters look.
hopefully both the offline modes/maps/create-a-class AND operators will get fixed for offline use.
Does this work with the free warzone 2? Everything seems to be behind the pay wall, even the private bot lobbies for practice

If 6 enemy bots is the maximum amount, that is a very small number...Meanwhile back in MW:Remastered you could have it up to 17 plus the ability to control perks, allowing you to get creative and make chaotic custom matches like this: ua-cam.com/video/eAXAU9fasMA/v-deo.html&ab_channel=PeterCoates

Do offline/local games have server ping like they did in Vanguard? I have fairly bad internet at home so I wouldn't be able to play often if you need a good connection to play private matches like you did in Vanguard

Bots will be good if the servers ever die on older games. Cross play helps but it doesn't ensure players will always be able to play.

COD MW2022's offline multiplayer is by far the worst i've seen for a long time, and im an Offline player since i was born!
1 gamemode which is TDM, 3 Maps and worst of all, NO GUNSMITH..
MW2019 has better Offline MP back in 2019 with Lots of Maps and gamemodes, how in less than three years did Offline MP evolved into the most barebones Local MP ever, like, there are people Who don't like to play online, they don't wanna deal with hackers, angry kids, SBMM, and sweaty players..
