I really appreciate your style of filming and how you focus on the location instead of yourself. I get really annoyed when travel videos focus too much on the person filming and the people they are travelling with. Sometimes they try to be really cute or funny and I can't help thinking "I didn't come here for this, can we please get a better view of the places behind you?" Thank you for filming in such a way that better immerses the viewer in your travel experiences.
Hi Matey, thanks so much. That is exactly my style -- stay out of the picture, don't block the scenery. I show up once in a while so you can see who is doing the shooting and talking, but not very often. Let the pictures be seen!
Galway was my dream trip . I was fortunate to stay there for 15 days a few years ago during the Galway Races . I was staying at a Galwegian BnB . I'll cherish this stay all the more because I was with my late beloved partner . Hope to come back soon and enjoy the great city lively streets . Thanks Dennis for reminding me of those great moments.
We have been to Galway, so nice, so peaceful, so friendly. I recommend Claddagh and Celtic Jewellery, even if I had to return my Single Ring (which I did because of an angry German childhood friend). I am still single and but I am in love. Idk. My Grandmother has been catholic and I read some Irish books. Great trip, I miss every single Day.
Galway is my favorite place in Ireland.I have visited it several times over the years and never tire of the energy you feel when walking around the Latin Quarter. Great job with the film.
This is the best movie I have seen about Galway. It is very informative and I really enjoyed watching it. I am going to stay there for 4 days soon with my wife and in laws. Thank you very much for making it and posting.
Great video, expertly done. Some of my my Irish ancestors immigrated to New York from Galway in the early to late 1800's. Ireland is a beautiful country, but they left and moved away for many reasons, like the famin. I'm sure they missed their motherland but they did what had to be done....survive. Thank you again.
This Ireland died on March 12 2020. I don't know will it ever come back again. Thanks for this lovely video. I miss my Galway. It's not the same under this "new normal" I'd actually rather Emigrate than see Galway like this :(
I was going to visit Galway and some other places in Ireland this year but was unable because of the pandemic. I die to see how they play Irish music. I hope to be able next year. Thank you for the video.
Wow!! I enjoyed the virtual tour of Galway. I was there in Dublin in 2011 and we traveled to Galway, Dingle, Killarney, Kinsale and to various others parts of Dublin. I loved the culture , people are so welcoming and its a beautiful country to visit. Good old memories (Nostalgia) Thanks for sharing sir!!
I loved this video, it's so informative! I loved the seagulls as well. I am going to study a semester abroad in Galway this year so this was great to kind of prepare for that. Thank you!
Thank you SO much for this amazing, high quality video! I am an American student who is looking to travel somewhere in Ireland next spring, and from what I’ve seen and researched Galway is the most ideal location for me. I am a writing student, people person, with a love of scenery, music, but also city life! This is the best video on Galway I’ve seen so far. I hope you enjoyed your trip, and I subscribed! :)
It's more like a small town Galway is...but plenty of craic and boyos! Watch out for them ;-) If I see ye out and about, ye never know, I might let you buy me a pint!
Ireland is a magical place. Anyone who visits Ireland. Will go back time and time again. .it's a little piece of heaven here on erith 😀. But don't tell everyone 😀. ..you will not want to leave Ireland when your time is up ...so enjoy a truly wonderful experience. .
Just a little tip on accommodation book well in advance try not to stay in the city centre as its costly but if you go just along the outskirts it much more affordable and easy to get anywhere in the city within 30 mins and public transport is regular and again affordable bring clothes for all weather no matter the time of year as it can be quite unpredictable best months would be June July and August if possible but one thing is for sure you'll be welcomed by all here in our home of Galway
The town were everyone is welcome, pure Irish hospitality, loved my stay went for a week could not leave stayed for much longer, try the crane music bar an old Irish home Converted into a pub all the best musicians turn up there after there shows and play unreal what an experience, don’t be afraid of the bearded giant on the door he’s very friendly P.J. He answers too, great night life in Galway fantastic university, loved the power that the river corib brings to the city, but I found it was the people who made my stay special.
I’m going first time trip to ireland Galway 5 nights going to pay homage to my late brother who became a well known penny whistler in 1970s and 1980s he spent time in Doolin and Aran island any tips appreciated we are two mature ladies
Thank you very very much for this amazing video from Galway. It’ s really great. I‘ m looking forward to the End of May , when we visit Galway again and stay for a fortnight holiday at that marvelous place. Our daughter lives and works in Galway since a couple of years. Greetings from Germany
I appreciate you, sir. I've been watching travel videos on UA-cam for months and none seem to show me much detail about specifics, especially for any city outside of Dublin. Thanks for taking a informative approach, I learned a lot!
Thank goodness I watched this. THANK YOU. I had watched a walk on a rainy day through alleys of gray buildings and the most depressing places I have ever seen. My ancestors came to New Zealand in the 1860s and I thought -no wonder. But I love the Irish speaking, singing and am proud of my heritage. My grandmother used to sing me all the lovely songs and was a marvel at never ending stories. 🥰
Sorry I hit the send button too soon. The best scenery is in the south/west and west of the country. People are friendly and welcoming. If you have particular questions you can ask me and I will be happy to help. Have a happy weekend and stay safe 😀 Michael
And yup yup Galway City could be the greatest city in the creation of the entire universe!?! You’ve got great craic in Tig Colis on Shop Street and great food in McDonaghs on Quay Street!?! And yup yup Galway will always be in my heart!?!

Yes totally agree. Sometimes half the video is the airplane, hotel, and close ups of the videographers that obscure the actual place.

It's supposed to be full of homophobics, and blow ins. Just as bad as the locals. All below the surface.
