School Food Punishment has been my favorite band for eight years, and I'm still coming to terms with the likelihood that no other band will have the profound appeal to me that they did. I always come back to these live performances with gratitude and reverence for the fact that their one-of-a-kind energy was captured on video.
Seriously this should be the official audio for this song. They put here a lot of energy, arrangements are even better than the studio version, specially bass and synths. Even the imperfections in Yumi's high notes feels organic and way more emotive than official record. Real master piece.

If I were there, school food punishment would get the adoration they deserve. 'Flow' is the best song of their discography. Period.

Can't leave out "Close, down, back to". That joint is ill! I even trip off "super nova", as pop as it is. By the time I heard this band, they were already long gone :-( I like Larks, but man... not the same. Yumi is a genius.

@@PlatinumPunkd the band name is siraph, i’m a huge fan of yoshimasa and haisuinonasa so seeing him of all people end up with 2 ex school food punishment members (love hasuo) in a band together was insane, you’d fancy their music tbh!
yea i just noticed that over and flow go together,thats so awesome.the chorus on flow just gives me chills,her voice is so beautiful that it just touches your inner soul.and the bassist is awesome.

It’s honestly insane- I grew up listening to this band but now that I have like played with drummers and know how to listen to drums it’s like “woah- wait. How is no one talking about THIS FUCKING DRUMMING!!”
It’s so cool- like a Easter egg or bonus track almost, discovering that the whole album kinda loops on itself. Especially cool in this digital age- I love vinyl records and there are so many cool artifacts of vinyl technology in the artistry of albums, things that people came up with musically as gimmicks that were born out of working with vinyl records. But this EP has a gimmick like that that only works on digital or CD- only when listening to a CD on repeat would you hear all the tracks in order, then hear them start all over again from the beginning. Same thing in digital if you’re not shuffling the album. It’s a little secret treat that is born out of the way in which we consume digital music, which is just so fucking inspiring artistically!!!!

2024年になろうとも何度でも聴きにきてしまう…これか15年も前のセンスとは全く思えないのはとんでもないことですよ…
わりと本気で10年後も20年後も聴きに来ると思います。
主役を奪うかのようにうねり先導するベース、ある時は機械のようにある時は人間になるドラム、どう考えても狂ってるシンセと水みたいなピアノのアンバランス感、それら全部を諌めるようなボーカルの存在感が神がかってる。
極め付けはこの2曲の構成。フルサイズの映画のようだ。歌詞もさる事ながら、演奏全体の空気に「お前さっき刺して来ただろ」といわんばかりの殺気がある。こんなセッションは人生で何度お目にかかれるか分からないが、今見てもやはり美しい音楽。
overからflowの構成で初めてライブで観た時は鳥肌が立った
序盤はこんなに水のような美しさから、リズム隊の引き締まるベースラインに時折、狂気なギターのようにシンセを操る躍動感
友美さんの歌声もまた、何者にも代えられない
あのライブは思い出であり、神ライブでした
sfpの音楽はまだ生き続けていますよ
このバンドに出会えて本当に良かった。15年前から聞いてます。最高です。
