I’ve got a friend that has been looking for the green label Jack. That was what people used to call Gentleman’s Jack before they offered it on their own. The rumor always was that they aged the same barrels longer and called it Gentleman Jack. Since that sold for more, they tried to quit producing Green Label, but brought it back to a few states because of demand. It’s still pretty hard to find.
@@MajorXero I do remember it being better than No7. I was never a fan of black label Jack, but I didn’t mind green label. Most people say it’s a slightly less refined Gentlemen Jack, so that may be a better idea of how it will taste to you.
I love earthy eyes myself. I like peppers, baking spices, anise as the complement. Of course there is nothing wrong with the sweet ones either. I sure won't complain🤣
It can be had for 79.99 at some places in Memphis and the 375 for as little as 40.99. But, 85 is not horrible as it isn't bundled with Wheatly or Fireball.

The funny thing is that the “belt” was originally needed. Instead of a normal label, the bottle had a tunic, and the belt did hold it on. The feds said the label wasn’t acceptable and made them go with a normal adhesive version. But for the originals, the belt was required to hold the label on.
1783 handle! THe Green Label JD is from the first floor and 4 years old. The black labels is a blend from all over and a 4 year min.

Think I will try to do better. Some of what I do for pacing so I will not go too fast.
