*Great reel, **enjoyable.fishing** recommend very smooth and I love that you can change from left hand to right hand so easily. Gave it a 4 on durability because I haven’t had it long enough to rate it. Doing good so far.*
Thanks for your review! The 6000 and the 14000 are also mi favorites, the 6000 great for jigging, 14000 for the big boys and girls on the surface... 🍀! 🎯
Are the 8000, 10000 and 14000 spools all interchangeable on the frame/body? It looks like they all weigh in the same ballpark, aside from the gear ratio, wondering if the 8000 with the power handle could fit a 10K and 14K spool if ever wanting to carry the extra line cap
My friend, i also bought the new twin power 14000xg for heavy shore jigging mainly to target bluefin tuna off the rocks around 40-80 kilos. It is a good choice only in deep waters(50m plus) and only when targeting big tuna or amberjack because of the 134cm retrieve. Finally, you need to pair it with a very powerful rod(i use tailwalk manbika 100xxh).It is my advice to you that you fill it up with pe 4 in order to get a lot of line(around 520m),maximum casting ability but also enough power to stop big fish.(I personally use momoi jigline braid with this reel.)
You want a shorter rod for jigging especially if it's vertical or speed jigging and a longer rod for plugging, that length is more for trolling or using live or dead baits
I just got a 2020 and love it in the 4k size for strippers and freshwater fishing. Planning to get a 2021 in the same 4k size. Wish I could fish for things in the 14k size that and the Stella are art!
@@fadelover123 I have them all , stella n tp more durable than gosa for a quite good margin , better seals n tight tolerence along with better line lay mechanism, tp 6000/1000 both pg r my daily driver n im tough on my gears both stand tall for yrs now.

Thanks for the review on the 2021 Twin Power 14000XGC. Looking forward to getting this from J&H soon!

I'm in love 😍!
That's in insane amount of drag💪🏾
I've been waiting for the 6k..... haven't been this excited for a reel in awhile 😍
Same here!

Asking the same question here!
It works that way for the Saragosa 8k, 10k and 14k. I'd assume it's the same way for the twin power and Stella.
Comparing it with 8000, 10000, they have almost same weight. Can i use 14000 for shore jigging? I need an extra line capacity.

Hey Josh, this reel looks amazing. Paired with a Terez 6 ft 9 inch heavy, would this be a good combo for jigging/plugging tuna off NY/NJ?

Thanks for the review and telling us that this is sealed. This reel is sweet.
Is this real capable of catching large mouth bass?
With ease
This reel would destroy a large mouth bass! 😆 It's really designed for BIG tuna, GT's and other BIG pelagic's
You could fight a dozen large mouth at once with this reel.
Probably a little bit small for large mouth. It's better for small mouth
@@whiskeykilmer1866 i agree. Small mouth bass, some blue gills. Actually, it could make a perfect sabiki reel also.
Is 65lb Quattro your favorite with this real for off shore mahi, wahoo, tuna?
Yes it is.

I bought one of the St. Croix Legend Trek 7'6 heavys & was thinking this might pair well with it.
Nice Reel Shimano Reel Josh..
Awesome reel!
How long is the reel foot for the 6000? Do you know where I can find that information?
Would it be better to get a stella or this
Unless you're constantly pushing your gear on max fish - TP is better value.
Stella's pricetag is inflated by their service offer.
@@timberwolfe338 saragosa will last longer than both lol, I don't see the point in getting a stella. This new twin power looks nice though
I got both reels in the 14k size the the twinpower is a solid reel.
@@fadelover123 probably ahaha.
I have two of the new ones and I intend to fish them for a long damn time.

This is a beautiful reel
Is this the same size as the 10000 just a deeper spool?
Yep
whoaa, sick reel. 55lbs of drag....
Looks good !
It looks really nice
El tamaño 5000 posee disipador de calor?
No
10000 y 14000
Love it!
looks really nice
Nice love this reel
Nice looking reel
Nice!
Thanks!
