Interesting adaptation there; that part's so melodically weird isn't it? And the screams. You got so good, so quickly, at this. Amazing job.

whoa, the "time" at 0:54 sounded like a new tone for you, more of a growl, nice some of the other screams sound like they have a little more...I dunno, body? I'm not a vocal expert but you must be getting better
@@kaylenebarber honestly there are other little things you deserve kudos for, you made some changes like the way you end "pale" at 4:15, almost going falsetto with it? Spencer does it with his signature grit but you took it in a prettier direction and it works too
@@darkphoenix2aww thanks, I’m glad you liked that part! Tbh, what Spencer did there is a bit trickier in my opinion, but flipping to falsetto is fun and different so I gave it a shot! 😊
I know this is a late response, but I can actually answer this question! I mixed her vocals. To get that wide sound on her vocal in the chorus, Kaylene recorded the chorus melody several times, and all of her harmonies are doubled. I panned all of these vocal tracks in stereo, which really fills the space with her voice. Hope this helps!
