bundle this: wii sports + wii sports resort + wii fit plus + wii play + wii party + wii party U = wii games night mega bundle, HD remastering of original wii games, new feature for all games: stat levels, like in wii sports and resort, when you complete or participate in a game your stat for this game and your overall stat level will increase/decrease depending on how you performed. all previous existing mini games carry through from wii sports baseball to wii party rule reversal to hide and seek to yoga.
please make this nintendo. you'll fill all of our hearts with joy of our favourite childhood/teenhood/adulthood gaming memories. only you have the power. so use it for the greater good :D

Classic. I do miss the goofier and wholesome era of Wii and Wii U over the millienial panderin and zoomer apple pandering with the very safe commercials over the last few years. This game looks amazing! And it has a good deal in it too. Now i hope they have a free play mode that you can play on with AI bots like it had in the last game. Because i probably will not have family or friends to play with lol.

Even people (like me) who enjoy the more hardcore Nintendo games, and play Pokemon about 10 hours a day, can still enjoy a fun party game every now and then.

If the Wii U is causal and the PS4 and Xbox One are hardcore. Then tell me, is the Atari 2600, Colecovision and Sega Genesis classified as hardcore game systems? I own a Wii, Xbox 360 and a PS3 and I really didn't notice a difference other than they're all game systems can offer my friends and I fun local multiplayer experiences whether it was Left 4 Dead or Wii Party. The term hardcore is used so loosely these days. Go play Castlevania 3 and then tell me if you're a hardcore gamer or not.
will if growing up means playing solo players then screw it, most of my friends who r not nintendo fans enjoy it when we play mario party or wii party or other multi nintendo games because they get something that they will never get from the x box or play station.

To the people that hate on these games I guess you people don't like to have fun. This game is going to be just as fun as Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, Wii Play, Wii Play Motion and even the first Wii Party. There all about fun and that is what gaming is all about.

COD is VERY generic according to nowadays. You simply run around with a gun, you don't get much as far as vehicles go, no classes, no support. Just you, your gun and shooting people. Same thing since forever ago. Only thing different they've done is kill streaks, and I don't really even know if they were its original origin. I'm guessing probably not.

honestly Wii party is not a bad game is one of the few games I can play with my family. Heck they sometimes ask me to get it set up so they can play it with their friends and stuff. Not a bad series and the sequel looks like fun too.

why are they laughing and looking at each other and not really taking the game at the mininum seriousness level for a minigame-party game? people always act so weird in these commercials...
They kinda did in Japan, They have a contract with Capcom to make Moster Hunter games exclusivly on Nintendo systems for many years. The Monster Hunter games sell loads (im talking 2 mill in 2 days japan only) and Capcom is nearly out of money, so if they get in to a bad situation and need buying out, i think Nintendo will be the ones who will do. Oh and MegaMan games fit on Nintendo consoles, they dont feel right on other consoles.
Yeah, Tho judging by this trailer, it looks like Nintendo (atleast NOA) is trying to market the games the system has along with explaining that it is for "Your Wii U Game System" rather than "Play with the new controller", its not the best step forward but i think if they play their cards right, by 2014 they will have decent sales.
Show the damn console, people still think the Wii U is a controller for the Wii. I know we see it at the end but people will have already shut off by then and just think its another Wii game. Show it and acknowledge off the bat that its a new game for an all new console.

No, they are targeting everyone, games like Wii Party U and Wii Fit U target Casuals, Beyonetta 2 and X target Hardcore and Mario, Zelda, Metroid, StarFox and Smash Bros target People who like Nintendo games. It's a fantastic plan and if they end up selling more Wii U's, they will get more 3rd Party support which means they will sell even more games!
Methinks all these complainers never played the original Wii Party with family or friends. It was far more accessible for first-timers than Mario Party ever has been, and I for one can't wait to get my hands on this new version. Nintendoland is great and all, but I need something more apt for the casual gamer when a party happens, without subjecting myself to Karaoke U.
Just look at the 3DS. I t didn't really have very much advertising and started off pretty poorly, but look at it now. Then the Wii, it sold more than both the XBox 360 and the PS3, just wait, the Wii U's day will come soon enough. Nintendo's consoles always do.

People have different views and perspectives, thereby everyone has a different opinion on what's good and what's bad. The same applies to video games. Some think Wii Party U is awesome while others think Cod is awesome. Either way, no one is wrong. Everyone has different perspectives, and it's an opinion. No games are "immature" or "stupid". Just because you don't like these games doesn't mean it's stupid. There's no reason you have to go talk trash.
It's his vocation. People tend to do that for unspecified reasons despite there being little point in doing it. Makes you wonder what kind of reaction he was expecting.
But anyhow, I would say Nintendo is more or less a family/youth oriented game developer. Games geared towards a more mature demographic are not very plentiful in their own developer libary. They do exist though and are usually timelessly awesome and many outside that category have the potential to be just as timelessly awesome.
Not bad but they could have done a whole lot better showing off quite of few more fun party games so hopefully they have more commercials like Japan. I like how they said an all brand new system and showed the Wii u at the end of the commercial for $299.99 other keys where showing Wii motes being used off TV play 60+ games and Wii more included the game not bad at all but let's see a lot more Nintendo lets go push the dead console lol
i believe no one can say they found fire emblem games easy. only a few people can complete a zelda game 100% withought some kind of guide. noone had an easy time with the water wraith in pikmin. and from a gamer, nothing is more fun than a challenge. this is why games with support for hard difficulties as well as casual experiences are succesful because hardcore gamers get a challeng and casuals get to experience the game.
What the 3rd party don't understand is if they would have followed the wii u from the start, it would be selling alot better. I remember when the Wii U was first announced. A bunch of the big third parties were excited to develope their TA franchises for the Wii U... what happened to that. Though part of the sales issue is Nintendo's marketing. They need to resell the Wii U this holiday season.They need to put adds everywhere, and really stress its a new console. After all they do have the money
If PS4/One sell better than Wii U then that means they are more popular among casual gamers. Casuals far outnumber the hardcore. They flock to popular titles such as CoD, GTA, Mario Kart, Wii Sports, Rockband,etc.
Hardcore gamers are those that are extremely passionate about games. Many of the fans of the games above see gaming as one of many hobbies to pass the time. The same is not true for a hardcore gamer. To them gaming is life.
The funny thing is, that the PS4 isn't advertised on tv yet, and more people know what it is than the Wii U. I wouldn't have released the Wii U without either a Mario, Zelda, StarFox, Donkey Kong, Metroid... NSMBU is hardly a system seller. I just feel sorry for publisher who are putting faith in the Wii U and end up losing money from poor sales. I really do hope Sonic Lost Worlds sells perfect for Nintendo sake.
How do you know that? The game hasn't even been released yet. If you're talking about the original Wii Party, I see your point. But Casuals aren't buying the Wii U? Not to sound like a troll, but those games won't put the Wii U on a great position, they'll just move Wii U units up for like 1-2 weeks, then it'll drop back down. Nintendo just needs to let people know the console exist, it's not an accessory for the Wii, and the price has dropped, that's it. They turned the 3DS around, why are they taking so long with the Wii U, just do what you did with the 3DS after the price drop Nintendo. It's not hard, Iwata is just stupid...
You hate because Nintendo where the people who brought up gaming as the hardcore gamer, (then) now other companies know how to take it much farther. So with out these, as you call them "kid games" we wouldn't be where we are now in gaming.
I'm sure the game is going to be fun and all, but we already have Game & Wario along with Nintendoland, we don't need a third of the same exact game. You think we could get some kind of grand scope game that isn't just an HD port of Windwaker?
Games aren't 'hardcore'. Gamers are 'hardcore'. You can make nearly any game hardcore. Pokemon - Create a dream team with perfect EV and IV stats, collect all the items, finish the Pokedex - that is what a hardcore gamer will do in those games. Halo - a casual player may just hop in a game every once in a while to have fun, not rage and scream and curse when they die.
makes no sense. first of all, this one has 80+, so my bad. second of all, this comes bundled with the controller, aka it's $10. and third of all, you could fit the type of minigames with the type of graphics the N64 could do at a full price. this is MORE minigames, in HD, for $10, and you can't compare the two just yet in terms of how complex these mini games are.
1, your wrong. There is always something for everyone. This is why thoes "Hardcore" Call of Duty games are played by children and a small amount of adults while Pokemon is played by adults and by a small amount of children.
