    I wonder if finding a higher amp hr battery that would fit would beef up the strength. I noticed when I bought a walmart stubby impact, the 2 amp hr battery had noooo power at all but once you slapped the 4 amp hr in the tool came to life and was a champ

      I've actually seen that happen on a few of the other tools we've tried; 4 amp hour definitely will bring a tool to life so to speak and make it work a little harder and perform better 💪

    I ordered the temu one today, those ratchet wrenches is only for transportation of the bolt and you hand tighten them when they are in. I would love a 1/4 one instead of 3/8. Great video!

      Thanks for watching! The JAVN seems to be decent for what I paid and we have used it for so far - let us know how it works out for you! 🙂

      @@FreshVintageGarage worked fine, have tested it for a while now. Still I would like a small version with 1/4.

    I would say Hercules for the win, Javn second and of course, Overpriced Craftsman comes in last lmfao

    Can the javn unscrew the lugnut ?

    • @FreshVintageGarage
      @FreshVintageGarage  7 місяців тому +1

      I don’t think they have enough torque to remove lug nuts. For that you will need 1/2” impact.
      Thanks for watching and subscribing 👍👊

    Bad test. Wrong job for the tool. If you want high torque and fast, uncontrolled speed, use an impact driver. These tools are designed for high speed, low torque running of machine nuts and bolts with a high level of speed control to prevent cross threading and over torqueing. The correct test is a speed run applying progressively larger nylock nuts, then reversible them off.

      Hi Larz thanks for watching! The idea of the test here was to overload these ratchets to see where the upper limits of their capabilities were, including extended run times, if they would overheat, if they would actually drive in a ridiculously large lag bolt compared to what they're rated for, and how long the batteries would last.
      Frankly everyone knows and nobody cares about the correct test because we know that these ratchets are rated to do exactly what you described 👍
      We wanted to see what they do when we ask them to perform at a much higher level than they're designed for 💯
