- The is an instructional VHS tape for the Bissell Big Green Clean Machine that I just recently purchased. I bought the tape from the 8 Track Shack website (snapshot at archive.is/gFg2C).
When I was a kid, I used to have a different version of the tape that begins with a commercial for the Bissell Trio and ends with another commercial for the Big Green Clean Machine. I watched it a lot, but unfortunately, just when my 11th birthday was about to start, my parents gave the tape away to my uncle along with the machine itself, who then gave them away to somebody else years later, which made me miss owning the tape for 13 years.
If you have the version of the tape I used to have that begins and ends with the same commercials, please leave a comment and let me know!
Probably one of the best carpet cleaners ever made. if you took care of it right. I still got my mom's big green from 1995 and it still works like a champ. we bought one of the original Proheats and it outlasted that.
I bought one of these in the early 90s and I’m still using it till this vary day! My bathtub drain got stopped up and I used my old diehard Green Machine to empty out the dirty water and pour it down the toilet for week until I had a day off to clear the clog. 😉👍🏽
If anybody knows where I can still get replacement filters for this, I would love to know. There’s got to be a store room somewhere that has these brand new filters just sitting there waiting for me!
I’ve had the main wrap around filter threaded up with twist ties for a decade and it works, but I want new ones!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

You're welcome, and since you brought that up, I went and checked it. But the other commercial for the Big Green Cleaning Machine at the end of the later version of the VHS, which I've been dying to see again, is a different one which starts with clips of Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire, Abbott and Costello, and Tarzan and Jane changing both the faces and names of their second leads in a hilarious way. There were also introduction notices for each commercial, and even a "Feature Presentation" bumper before the main program starts.

I need me a new one. It lasted me many years. This is a good investment. Pretreat with Folex spot remover. It’s good stuff.

Mine has an added feature but cant find how to use it. We can put water in the tank as a filter. I wish I could find an older manual.
