At 35 years old Cory Lopez is in the best shape of his life and not slowing down. Recently, Cory took the groms down to Costa and showed them how real men work. He was up at 4:30 each morning doing his wake up rounds, in the water by 5:30. Cory was ripping whatever surf he could find for 10 hours a day, eating two meals, just pure stoke and love for surfing. In Costa Rica he is known as Legendary and this video will show you why...

I live in Costa Rica. Years ago I had the chance to spend a week surfing with Cory, Andy, and Wardo aboard my buddys boat Billabong rented out for the week. Let me tell you this. Cory Lopez is the biggest surf hound EVER!!! This guy surfs all day! Guy is a legend. Hope to see you out in the water soon Cory. CJ in Esterillos.

He quit the tour at a young age, just like Kalany Robb did..... what a shame, shame on you Cory, we have to put up with low quality surfing on tour with the likes of : Matt Wilkinson, Wade Carmelo from Oz, Adriano Brazzo and a couple others who are on the ct. Why Cory, Why ? you enjoy the Florida lifestyle? Humid, flat spells, etc etc ?
