Yeah, I think my HS's band did this a year or two ago for half time, and they voted to have the director arrange it as a stands tune (its really fun to play in the stands, but I bet it would have been fun as a drill).
@amishabe my schools football field doesnt have any lights either, it sucks we have to have our "friday night" football games at noon on saturday morning, its like really??
we basically have 19 because most of our people dont play because they hate our director. a lot of people just sit there playing wrong notes. so we have low brass (me and my friend kyle), five trumpets, our drumline (like another five people) and a few flutes and clarinets carrying the weight of our entire band.... oh yeah and we have eric like our only sax that plays
@myworld872 yeah yeah we could definitly use some work, but im glad im not in a hyper-precise competition band. this is way more fun. play music really loud and have a good time.
When it comes to the sousas, I'm just going to give you a break and blame the bad intonation and tone mostly on the camera and the fact they're fiberglass. :) When I tried recording my tuba with a cheap microphone... it doesn't sound anything like a tuba to me (on my video you can hear what I mean). But it's not bad. I'm not saying that.
@tannerwise7 well actually, all us from ohio have been screwing with you, we hacked into everyones youtube account and put that the band was somewhere in ohio in the video description
Yeah that was just one big fart. so out of tune and stuff. But your higher parts are very nice and strong and fun to listen to. The performance makes me wanna dance. : )
TY Cougar!! Raider here, They did a nice job and I agree with you 100%.
I wish everyone could see this band now in 2016.
Penn State plays this ... it sounds awesome...
you guys are effing huge! we have 38 people in our entire band!
I love the White Stripes and I love marching band. way cool. :)

Were playing it in our marching Escanaba High School. for in hte stands when our foot ball team scores or something
how are the other songs picked (not just senior show)?
Does Shaker Hts High have lights now?
@amishabe my schools football field doesnt have any lights either, it sucks we have to have our "friday night" football games at noon on saturday morning, its like really??
thanks for making me think twice about my 3a band being big.. :(

northeastern Ohio. a little town you'll most likely never hear about in you're life.
it seems like almost every marching band video i watch comes from ohio
12 sousas? we have 3
bro do you even tune?
The sound isn't clear to many quarter notes......

Timing issues, line issues, ya, this could use some work
I'm sorry but your Battery is a wee to loud
the drums just play to loud it domates and you cant hear the melody and the horns and tubas are bad
ok. seriously. wtf. 10 basses? That's excessive, buddy.
the drums are soooooo overpowering
lol:)
It's nice, but way to go drumline, cover most of the band. I blame the camera.

That was pretty crappy playing on the low brass' part. The trumpets were badass though. And you're not bad marchers either.
great song to play in band... but man tht sounds terriable
The sousa's are mediocre, at best, nice try though.
