Ocasio-Cortez4prez2022 fair point, but fuzz made the point to say it was most overrated not overpaid & tried to make a distinction. It’s not a very big deal I just thought he contradicted himself
It's not all about the numbers especially for catchers. Yan Gomes was bought over specifically to catch for Corbin with the deal he signed that was all used from the money free'd up by letting Bryce walk, its ok i understand alot of people don't get to watch every Nationals game but that's the reason he plays and he is a very very good defensive catcher for someone like Corbin who throws ALOT of sliders even Stras and Max with those hard wipe out sliders.
Fuzzy not really. The cubs didn’t need another outfielder and a raw prospect. They needed starting pitching and they got a decent starter in him. You have quite a good following. You should use your words wisely. It doesn’t really seem like you watch many live games based on your research.
@@jacobshapiro6612 so you would rather have Almora and Heyward instead of Eloy and a better pitcher because you didn't take Quintana's contract and have more money
I’m a Dodgers fan and I was thinking, “who can he possibly pick”. Then Pollock comes up. Yep, so overrated I momentarily forgot we had him on the roster.
Do top ten biggest baseball chokes of the decade or twenty years one of then should be the Phillies 400 million dollar payroll in 2019 to fail to make it to the playoffs.
Marwin Gonzalez's ability to play every single position makes him valuable. He's overpaid, not overrated. Eddie Rosario is probably the choice here. Decent average, horrible OBP, and very average fielding in left.
Braun is overpaid, but as a brewers fan, we all know that Braun cheated and that he isn't the player he used to be. But nobody is calling him an allstar anymore. So overpaid, but not overrated.
As a Cardinals fan, you nailed the Bader argument. Yes he is a great fielder with good speed, but it’s hard to steal bases when you can’t even get on base
Fuzzy I hope you see this. First off, I like your content. But this video, was not good. You made it an overpaid video when it was supposed to be an overrated video. Now for evidence to back up my claim, I am putting time stamps for every time you used a player salary against them in your argument( you might have to wait around for seconds to hear it) 1:36 2:10 2:59 4:55 6:35 7:00 8:08 11:34 11:49 16:05 16:58 17:55 18:50 19:45 I like your content though
As a cards fan I can completely agree that Bader brings hardly nothing to the table in terms of hitting. Hopefully he can step it up with his elite defense
Now wait fuzzy, keep in mind that tommy la stella was nothing but a pinch hitter for the cubs. They didn’t have an every day spot. It’s very tough to consistently hit home runs when you get 1 AB maybe every three games
I’m a Yankees fan and I absolutely hate JA Happ. He is so bad to the point where I don’t watch the games he’s starting cuz I know we Finna lose. Like wtf was Boone thinking getting this man
Grichuk didn’t get paid before the season, he got paid during it. He also forget he led the Blue Jays in HR...yes his OBP isn’t great but he’s arguably our best outfielder
As a Cardinals fan, I couldn't agree with you more about Harrison Bader. He's fast and flashy and fun to watch field, but his bat doesn't warrant belonging on a MLB roster, let alone a playoff contender like the Cardinals.
I say this as a Jay's fan: When Grichuk isn't hitting a homerun he isn't doing much. I remember someone writing about how he wasn't flying out as often. To which I said "yes because he traded that for ground outs toward left field most of the time." I really do wanna cheer for him but he's making it difficult lol. Maybe a candidate for overrated and over payed.
Does anyone ever think about how the coors effect could just be more about there mindsets hitters are more confident at the plate, and pitchers are more timid.
As a diehard Dbacks fan, I personally think Ketel Marte is overrated. He’s really good, don’t get me wrong, but a lot of people think he’s a top 15 player
I'm just glad that people are realizing how bad Neal Huntingdon was for the Pirates organization. Not that I think Bob Nutting isn't the worst thing to happen to them, but Huntingdon was up there. I remember being super excited for a lot of our prospects (Brock Holt, anyone?) just for them to be traded away as soon as they proved they were actually capable. I'm a huge fan of sabermetrics in general so I hope that finally our team can get with it and start doing things by the stats and not the "traditionalist" approach. It's not 1960 anymore (gee, don't I know that, we woulda been competitive!).
Marwin is not overrated he doesn't even start and when he did he was clutch. You don't understand what overrated means and you just said he is overpaid
No one thinks that Bader is a good hitter right now, so calling him the most overrated on the list is a little extreme. Especially when you leave out his rookie year when he hit a lot better.
Daniel Norris looks like a super chill, nice guy with lots of stories to tell. But yeah, you can see baseball it's not his #1 priority. He uses his offseason to do anything else but improve. And that's OK, that's his business. But he should let newcomers, minorleaguers try for his spot
Imma be real as a Cubs fan about Quintana. He's not overrated, he's your Jekyll and Hyde. He can throw 7 shutout one game and then give up 7 runs and 4 walks the next. Which is why I always ask myself when he's pitching if it's good Quintana or bad Quintana that day. However, his 2019 FIP was 3.80 compared to a 4.68 ERA meaning that he was probably unlucky with his 10.1 H9. Watching him live, lots of balls were squeaking by the defense with led to walks and then the big hard hit. I wouldn't pay 11.5 million for him (maybe between 7.5-9) but I wouldn't say he's overrated. Maybe replace Quintana with Baez (who's great, but too much hype), Lester, or Kimbrel (who I still can't get a definitive grip on).
Randal Grichuk was definently overrated last year, but this year he is another story. He is hitting for average and has a lot of power. He has also made some very nice plays in the outfield.
I'm one of the few cards fans who isn't a huge fan of bader, the potential is there and he's a great guy but our front office has ruined so many outfielders by bringing them up early. grichuk was a guy like that and all he does now is strike out
I'm a huge D-Backs fan and watch almost all of their games. Ray is my favorite pitcher, I really like watching him play. I don't disagree with him maybe being "overrated" in a sense. But his stuff is so nasty. He just struggles putting guys away and nibbles when he's up in the count. I think most people recognize this so it's hard to say he's overrated if people recognize his faults. He reminds me a lot of Max Scherzer when he was in Arizona. Stuff is nasty but he can't quite put it together. I hope he stays in Arizona and fixes his issues but I wouldn't be shocked if he leaves this off-season (he'll be a FA) and blows up in future seasons on a different team.

Fuzzy why do you hate the Royals so much?
N
i know I'm kinda randomly asking but do anyone know of a good website to stream new movies online?
@Javier Kannon I watch on flixzone. Just search on google for it :)
I like most of your picks, but there’s a big difference between “overrated” and “overpaid”
Aidan Frye Addressed this in the video! Watch it before commenting 👏🏻
Nate Z ^^^^
Fuzzy but u also said “I’m just trying to equate value to what they are getting paid” which is overpaid
Aidan Frye your right
Ocasio-Cortez4prez2022 fair point, but fuzz made the point to say it was most overrated not overpaid & tried to make a distinction. It’s not a very big deal I just thought he contradicted himself
When fuzzy said “even Zack Greinke has a better OPS than Harrison Bader” I was like Harrison Bader got roasted terribly
Tomas Ralda he has a higher ops than Matt Chapman
Baseball bulletin ??
Greinke had a better ops then a lot of guys
It's not all about the numbers especially for catchers. OzzY Sports totally agree, he really isn’t the most overrated player
Quintana didn’t “sign” with the cubs, they traded him for eloy Jimenez and Dylan cease
John Smith even worse LMAO
God don't even remind me 😭
Fuzzy not really. The cubs didn’t need another outfielder and a raw prospect. They needed starting pitching and they got a decent starter in him. You have quite a good following. You should use your words wisely. It doesn’t really seem like you watch many live games based on your research.

YUP
True dat. Worst singing in a while
A.J. Pollock is a big bummer!
DASHELL JAYNES not a 15 million man tho
Dodgers all the way

Finally, BASEBALL CONTENT ❤️
thank you fuzzy, please stay healthy we need you
Fuzzy we love you brother- stay safe
Use XFIP not FIP it’s more accurate.
What about Chris Davis for the Orioles
Do top ten biggest baseball chokes of the decade or twenty years one of then should be the Phillies 400 million dollar payroll in 2019 to fail to make it to the playoffs.

TheGoldenMask oh makes sense
Marwin Gonzalez's ability to play every single position makes him valuable. He's overpaid, not overrated. Eddie Rosario is probably the choice here. Decent average, horrible OBP, and very average fielding in left.
Rosario has a cannon of an arm.
The Giants didn’t sign Longoria, they traded for him.
Thats true and I thought he would say Pence or Sandoval or Posey but Longoria? I dont hear anybody talking about him.
Alberto Reyes posey for sure hes washed
When you have a .275 BA while using a Buzzer

Gavi Kanter OMG yes he did he actually did something for my fantasy team that day besides blowing every save
Thank you, fuzzy for giving us great content in this sad time.
Dietrich was playing hurt for the last month or two of his season
I’m a Cardinals fan and agree that Bader is the most overrated players
Time to learn the difference between over/underrated and over/underappreciated and certainly the relationship between the two.
Is it bad that Braun is my favorite player. And he is loved by the brewers fans so that’s why we pay him
Bryce isn’t overrated, he’s just overpaid
He’s not really, he’s not getting paid that much per year
I think he's just a little bit overrated but definely overpaid.
Harper is probably the most overrated player in baseball
hes def overrated and overpaid .
Bryce would have been the 4th best player on the braves last year...
Braun is overpaid, but as a brewers fan, we all know that Braun cheated and that he isn't the player he used to be. But nobody is calling him an allstar anymore. So overpaid, but not overrated.
I dont think some of these are overrated; overpaid doesnt mean overrated
High BA= high OBP which and u need hits to have a high slug percentage so batting average does matter
Have you ever heard of Mike Trout
Yeah, the best player in baseball
Fuzzy “I don’t think Yon Gomes will have a comeback”
Me watching when Yon Gomes has a blowup season in 2021
As a Cardinals fan, you nailed the Bader argument. Yes he is a great fielder with good speed, but it’s hard to steal bases when you can’t even get on base
I like most of your picks, but Molina on the Cardinals and Crawford on the Giants are easily more overrated than Bader and Longoria.
Benjamin Martin I can agree but Fowler though he is terrible and is making more than Molina and Bader combined
Hey fuz, I have a idea for a vid what if you do the most predicable pitchers
Today I just pulled Cole, Freeman, Flaherty and Lindor. I also got Kluber. I’m so hyped.

Salary is a direct reflection of how a team rates a player's talent, no? With the exception of pre-arbitration players
I am a big Cubs fan, and what I expected from Quintana was ethier him giving up 1 or 2 runs start, or him giving up 4 or so runs.
The Chris archer trade hurts because I was such a big fan of meadows and had an autograph of him at spring training

1 bad year. He was one of the greatest players of the 2010s prior to 2019

Sometimes a change of team can help a player tremendously. Who they hit in front of or behind. Or just the coaching staff etc
Dansby Swanson must've watched this because he is going off this year!

the reason Randal Grichuk isnt good at fielding is because the Blue Jays have him playing Center Field. He is a corner outfield guy
