Swaying makes gaming experience even closer to reality, but that is fairly dangerous especially when you have VR headset on your head. Yet I would like to have one, too!

You need to compensate for VR headset movement. The simulator should translate sensations to your body, but your head shouldn’t be moving around in the cockpit in-game.

There are now some of these in the hands of sim racers. Why does their yaw not match your yaw? Theirs only yaw about 3 degrees, while yours yaws almost 50 degrees or more. Has yaw been disabled in final product? Also, I have a very large 20x20 room, is it possible to re-enable the heave? Thanks

Two questions: 1) Will this work fine on firm carpet? 2) Do you have any plans to offer financing for the overall cost such as through Synchrony or Affirm?
The simulator is placed on a board; as seen at 0:41. So your underlay can be anything along as it can support the weight. To the 2. question, as of now we have no plans for this. But we might look into this.
I saw it on the webside, clever mounting. I'm already thinking about how I could wrap a greenscreen around it that moves with it freely to make mixed reality videos :-D. I would love to try this out
I've read on another one of their videos that it is limited to 360 degrees of rotation, then it will stop rotating. Then when you're driving straight it will go to 0 degrees very slowly so you won't notice it. (That's what they claim at least)

Used to be $2500 on the kickstarter...I can afford $2500 now but $5400 is out of my price range. They should add a payment plan or try to lower the price some more. I know it's costs less than most simulators but it's still not that accessible to the average person without a payment plan.
No Buttkicker, no buy. Buttkicker is the most important thing, because it's the fastest tactile feeling you can get. It's more important than G-Forces. G-Forces is for fun and immersion. I tried some full motion simulator and they suck because they lack tactile sub woofer like Buttkicker. They are good for slow G-Forces but 90% of the useful feel in racing is done with vibrations. G-Forces are a distraction in racing. I will buy that thing as soon as I get the money and add a couple of buttkicker to it.

By the most powerful if you have the money. Install it right below your ass. The most important thing is to buy and install the "SimVibe" software. It read the telemetry from games and generate the exact sound needed for the buttkicker and at the right place. With SimVibe, you can install a buttkicker at the 4 wheel, one under your seat, one under the pedals and one under the wheel. It will replicate all the feel of the cars, even some minor vertical G.

Agreed, we removed the functionality rather quickly as we could not implement any safety for it.

PajoPatak side to side motion. So rather than just tilt left and right with sway the whole rig would also be able to move left or right.
I feel like it's perfect for my room because I would probably mess something up with a vr headset on and the earlier model but it was still dope!

It is currently not mounted on the chair since Oculus Rift messed up their latest firmware. It works fine though, just limit Yaw a bit.
Could be fun! Unfortunately we don't have time to experiment, but we are looking very much forward to seeing what people can do with the platform =)
