I've been doing this for nearly 20 years. My brother taught this trick to me, but we do it differently. Although, it does appear to look very similar. I haven't done it in a very long time. Thanks for bringing back those sweet memories.

The way I learned that is you put your pinky under your third, and second finger, then you connect your first and second finger and then you put your thumb under your first finger, then you do the same thing with your other hand then you put them beside each other and there you have it, a easy fast snake hand!!! ;-)
IF YOU CAN'T BEND YOUR FINGERS WELL: Keep practicing and you'll eventually get it!!! :-)

It's because of the way it works. First, put your two pinky fingers together, facing away from each other. Make sure your pinky fingers don't cross and your ring fingers cross, the left ring finger on top of the other ring finger. Then, put the two middle fingers under each ring finger, make sure the middle fingers do not cross. And put the index finger under the middle finger, put these index fingers together and put your thumbs together. Now you got a snake! Want to make a mean dog? Put the pinky fingers not inside the mouth, but under it and from behind. Again, make sure the pinky fingers face away from each other and they don't cross. Nice, huh?

there is a much easier way to do this.
fold your middle and ring finger over your pinky finger
make an "o" shape with your pointer finger and thumb (make the "o" a little flat)
do this with your other hand
put your two hands directly beside each other
there you go, a much easier and faster way to make a hand snake

Or an EVEN easier way is to make an o with your left hand and use the pointer finger on your right hand and then smash the two into each other. Hey presto, you've got a snake.
