John, thank you for bringing light to this venture. My little island has been so battered in recent years (decades) so it's comforting to see the ways Puerto Ricans are persevering forward despite obstacles with the power of gardening!! We must support the rebrowning of growing food and allow Black, brown and indigenous people to reclaim their farming traditions. I will definitely be ordering! Paz.

We buy seed and plants from them all the time l, they grow very well in zone 10 Florida. It makes me happy to have the seeds from my hometown here in Florida.
John, I just received my order today. It is beautifulperiod I am going to do a little bit of testing period it's funny that they are growing the Danvers carrots that's what you grow in the south. So I just have some seed fsomewhat regional place. now I have my seeds from your neighborhood company in puerto rico. So I'm gonna try to grow them. Both side by side in South Carolina zone 8B/9 A. Then I'm gonna grow them in Florida side by side in zone 9A/9B. This will not be until next year but I will let you know the results. Also I purchased pigeon peas boy am I excited. Amongst other things like passion fruit guava the cherry's leeche. They are such a great value and the seed packs just looks so professional❤️
Thank you for another great video, John. And saving my life with micro greens :-) still trying to grow in the chemical wasteland Kansas. The sheriff escorted the sprayer this last year to destroy 800 feet of vegetables. It’s truly sad we cannot grow on our own land in America. So excited for your new farm.
There is such a thing as too many nutrients John (that I'm surprised you don't know by now). Nutrition is NOT A PANACEA like you seem to think. Tons of consumption of nutritious food into a toxic body is a big waste of time and food as it won't be assimilated well if at all and won't make a dimes worth of difference. Detoxing and regeneration of cells is required before nutrition can offer any benefit. It just so happens that fruit is the easiest to digest and the most cleansing/detoxifying to the body - as well as building. Greens help to build but not clean.
@@aworldreborn881How in the world do you think what I said was rude? I'm stating fact! I didn't say John was toxic. Why don't you reread what I actually said? You might learn something.. I was talking about people in general. John can handle it and he's detoxed for sure. But people who just pile on so called "nutrition" after eating a crappy diet most of their lives don't benefit unless they get clean inside or *detox first*. Many real experts and people who have experienced it first hand say that without the ability to absorb nutrients, eating more of them doesn't make much of a difference and certainly not a permanent one.
I am purchasing a big huge farm property in central northern Florida. So I will definitely be purchasing some seeds. I just watched the video about your new farm property. When you were going through the trees, you said they sell tree seeds as well? I would definitely love to get some ice cream bean and all three passion fruit for my central Florida southern property.
Orlando area is often the northern cutoff line for growing many tropicals without a greenhouse in central florida. I had a farm in Archer for over a decade, but moved to Sarasota to grow more tropicals.
I applied for the position in Puerto Rico. My name is Eric and I'm in VA but I really hope I can move down there to take care of your farm. I'd be happy to translate for you when you're there, I'm American but I spent 9 years in Central America and I speak Spanish fluently. That's my fantasy job, gardening and working on trees and being able to speak Spanish daily and helping people who visit, it all sounds awesome to me! But I haven't heard back from you. Hopefully I will! I could be there in a couple weeks. I grew up in Florida and I miss the heat, VA is too cold for me and I have been looking for a big change. We should definitely talk.
They should grow chayote, never been able to find same kind from PR in the US. In Florida they only sell a smaller green kind. Puerto Rican chayote is large and off-white flesh
Right On, John! I'm ordering seeds from 'Desde mi Muerto'. I'm in a 9b zone up in Shasta County, Ca. It gets pretty hot up here in the summer. (my winter garden is doing great right now). I'm a gardner 101 but really enjoying your tips and guidance. Stumbled upon you researching other kombucha videos and now I'm a loyal daily ...and very interested listener. I love your enthusiasm and sense of humor too. Live to Thrive- TracyAnn
Wow it would be awesome to be able to grow all those different peppers. I grew some crazy ones in Costa Rica and I lived in a couple houses that had big pepper bushes that were years old, one habanero was literally taller than the house it was next to. They have huge but very tasty bell peppers there too, but usually they're long and pointy instead of the shape we're used to. I miss all those different tropical veggies and fruits. Edit, just to help, J always sounds like the way we say H in Spanish.

Your rude AF Emily 😢 what makes you think john is a toxic person to the point he can't absorb nutrients?
@@aworldreborn881 Yea that's another troll stupidly trying to discourage people from growing their own healthy food.

That farm volunteers to do fumigating. How can it be organic if they fumigate?
Pooh air toe not poor toe if you’re going to live there might as well start pronouncing it correctly 😅

Hey John 🐸🍺🔪🔥
You will be a great asset to our community welcome
Let's go!!!!
Why does the seed matter?
To regrow instead of buying. You can even sale the seeds
It is the foundation of human and animal life on earth!
I don't see why you need to proclaim "Non GMO" seeds. ALL vegetable seeds for gardeners are Non GMO. Only farmers can buy GMO seeds and they are for Farm crops not gardens.
Thanks for clarifying.
I was not aware.
Now I know.
THANK YOU FOR SAYING THIS.
I was going to comment this exact same thing.
Not everyone knows everything

Not true anymore!!!! The first GMO seed is now available for purchase, the purple tomato. It will be interesting to see what the future holds!
