Mine is showing up tomorrow from Elevation. I went with the same model except without the cupholders but I did add black powdercoat. Going in a green Maycraft 1800. Looks great, thanks for the video.
Thanks for the video... I'm in the process of slowly renovating/updating my 2004 21' KW Bay Boat. I bought my boat used a couple of years ago and wanted to know what you use to clean your boat, maybe more specifically, how do you get the embedded interior stains out and keep them out? Thanks in advance!
How heavy of conditions do you think it would hold, sometimes I’m out and the wind kicks up the Gulf Stream so I would like something that could take a beating
Thanks for this video! I’m looking to do the same with my Grady White 180. I called GW and they said I should be free of any lines, hoses etc. if the new seat was going over top of where the existing seat was. They mentioned using stainless steel anchors for the screws to bite in and secure the seat to the deck since there’s no access in this area to thread a nut from the under side. How did you know the existing holes were where your stringers were? Is it standard for the swingback/cooler seats to be mounted on the stringers at the time of manufacturing, or is there a way to tell? I’m trying to avoid drilling any unnecessary holes and get it right the first time!
Yes on the key west the cooler seat was mounted on top of the stringers. When I ordered the leaning post I made sure the new feet were going to line up with the existing cooler seat mount. As long as you are hitting stringers with the screws and using 5200 it won’t go anywhere and you’ll be good to go.
Hi there, so I'm purchasing the exact same leaning post and size, however I want that exact color combination you have so I was wondering if you could tell me what exactly you told them at elevation marine to get that color combination and what colors those are. thank you
Good evening, great video and very helpful I live in the uk can you please give me the details of who made your leaning post . I also need a t top and frame for my new 20 ft centre console boat I’m having built / some one said a company called Stryker but any help would be greatly appreciated as there are no companies here in England selling these products. Kind regards mark
Almost 99.9% it was cream and sand. If you want to be 100% I would call and ask for Mike the owner and he will tell you for sure. He has done several now since I’ve done this video with this color pattern.
Awesome job. I did the same to my 99 174 cobia. World of difference. The only other thing I would advise is hand tighten the last 1"-1/2" on the screws. Sweet clean boat.
Thank you sir. Yes it makes a hugh difference. Also agree about the hand tighten of the screws. I didn't use a drill at all with mine as I didn't want to strip or break the screw.
@@904Mugen hello im looking to get the same seat for my key west 189fs as well. Im measuring 39 inch width as well. Did you install yours with the 39 in and if so how did it work out? Thanks for any info
@@chup1971 I don’t have it yet. I ordered mine January 4th and it takes couple weeks for them to build it and ship it. But I got 39” from the same company as this guy. I already sold my cooler seat and patched holes so just waiting for the new one. I ordered the same seat like the video and same colors but I reverse the colors, sand overall on the seat and back rest and cream on the sides.

Are you talking about the non skid or your seats?
What were the colors that you chose from elevations color chart?
How heavy of conditions do you think it would hold, sometimes I’m out and the wind kicks up the Gulf Stream so I would like something that could take a beating
@michaelcopete3466 it was very solid. l beat on it a bunch and it held up great. The new owner still isn't having any issues.

Now go put that boat in the water and catch a fish capt!

I was hoping for a how to, not a commercial.
Well I tried. I was filming the how to but the SD card in camera was Corrupted. It is what it is.
