Man the old nether used to look so deep, yes the new nether is better, but the old one had a different vibe to it that the new one doesn't have. It was way darker and gave you actual hell vibes
for ender pearls you could try the desert at night, I'm fairly sure desert had increased enderman spawn rates back then too
Our favorite duck is back, in this version I would just recommend killing enderman at night. Since at night they have a higher spawn rate.
