Very interesting. My son had only shot a 14 gauge shot gun a few times before he went to Basic Training with the Army. He ended up qualifying Expert in both rifle and pistol. He now has a few guns and has a concealed carry permit and always carries and is teaching a Nephew (14) and Niece (12) of his to shoot, and they really enjoy it.
Qualifying Expert is very impressive!

I love you having this skill!! I don't know if you are allowed to legally carry on the road. Am sure each state must have it's own laws regarding guns. However, it honestly keeps you safer out there but hopefully not needed! Thanks for posting what you do on off times! You can't just live in a shell (truck) 24/7!! LOL!!
Thanks!!! Company policy states no guns. Furthermore, being OTR 48 states it can be very complicated if you want to carry a gun. Some states don’t allow it.
