QUESTION: What can citizens do now to push back against the anti democracy movement ?
(In case I get no response:
1. Promote voting by being vocal in each person’s circle of influence about how democracy is on the ballot.
2. Run voter registration campaigns by at the very least, getting registration forms from their local elections office and finding people who aren’t registered to sign up.)

Sadly, in states like Texas in the Texas GOP campaign to stay in power by rigging the system, all kinds of laws have been passed to limit public campaigns to get people registered. For one thing, the only way to help people register to vote is to become a Volunteer Deputy Registrar except by appointment by county registrar. People who don’t know this could end up being criminally charged! The record turnout of voters in 2020 DURING THE PANDEMIC, where Trump’s advantage was cut in half, scared the shit out of the Texas GOP

The problem is that it will probably go to the SCOTUS, and we all know how problematic that is.
Especially if Colorado is the only case passed.
The more cases pass, the more likely SCOTUS will have to go with the flow.
That said, if even one state brings a case and fails then it gives SCOTUS a wide breach through which to deny it for all.

Why is nobody taking action against the 1000+ other insurrections, many of whom hold government offices, that should be held accountable to the 14th amendment and removed from office accordingly as well as disqualified from ever holding office again?
As Americans you would expect the SCOTUS to do the right thing. I have no such confidence in the current SCOTUS.
The SCOTUS understands that an autocrat has no use for courts, judges, laws, or a Constitution that can check or overrule his sovereign will. The SCOTUS currently has the ultimate status, power, and authority as the final arbiter of the law, and they are not going to subject themselves and the entire judicial branch to a wanna-be dictator. One thing you count on from conservatives: promoting their self-interest and preservation of power at all costs.

The 14th Amendment Section 3 also says that all of those republican congressmen who objected to the 2020 election certification and/or attempted to help Trump's coup are also disqualified from office. That includes the current Speaker of the House as well. That includes some state legislators and others who tried to help Trump with his coup. In summary, if the 14th Amendment Section 3 is properly applied, hundreds of currently serving republican politicians will have to be declared ineligible for office. I wonder if SCOTUS has the courage to do that!

I have hope that even the conservative justices will uphold the Colorado ruling if nothing but for self preservation. If they overturn Colorado, they are basically saying Trump is above the law and has no further use of them. Basically they would be making themselves irrelevant.
Unfortunately Trumpists do not practice effective self preservation. Or critical thinking, logic, or efficient government by the people & for the people.
