Hi! I just bought a used volkswagen touran with the rns 315 navigation system. I seem to have a bit of an issue connecting my phone. When i press the phone button on the system it only mutes the sound from the radio, and doesnt give me any option at all of setting up my phone. Do you have any idea what may be causing this, and how to fix it?

It isn't an issue.
From what I've read on the internet in german discussion boards, the phone button mutes the radio sound If you've got no bluetooth handsfree installed. So it seems like you're having a RNS 315 without Bluetooth.

Oh wow, i guess you're right. Would expect that to be standard in the highline modell. But oh well, guess ill install it myself. Thanks man :)
