- Hey Guys, I managed to get in another century ride this week, but wasn't breaking any speed records achieving it. Spent all day out on The D&L Trail, sun up to sun down, caught some rain a few times throughout the day but overall had a great ride. Its not always about getting miles and going fast, sometimes its just about riding and having a good time.
Thanks for following along, everybody.
Great job! 101.8 miles in the cold and rain! Awesome!
Another good ride. I thought in the first few seconds you were riding in a monsoon, Yeah riding at night is so cool. Thanks for the video and take care, Al
Great way to start a ride at night! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching.
Only the truly dedicated ride on cold, wet, miserable days like that. U DA MAN!!!
Its always a great time for a ride.
I fully agree with you about night riding, it makes a regularly cycled track a totally different trail.
Sometimes I don't have the inclination to repeat some of my regular rides in close succession so I just do them in the dark !
And very well done on the imperial century 👏🚴♂️👍
Awesome, Thanks. Local familiar rides really get boring, I like to spice them up with rain, and sometimes riding at night.
101.8 miles, excellent!
Roll On!
Not Bad.
Hundo. Nice!
I've definitely dialed it back since the weather changed, just a couple short rides/week. Good to see you out there still putting' in the miles.
Always hammering. Hope to see you out there.
STILL LOOKING FALL IN PA HOPE YOUR THANKSGIVING WAS JUST AS BEAUTIFUL.....🎉
Winter is just about here. Happy Holidays.
Nice work! Your giving me ideas! I really never thought about riding in the dark before I saw this. I don’t live too far from a 30 mile continuous bike trail so I will have to give night riding a try.
You should! I hope you got out there for a night ride. SO much fun.
Nice. Just did the gorge ride two weeks ago. Nice to do in the fall so you can see the Lehigh River with all the leaves down.
Hope I see you next time.
Sweeeet 👍
Your setup is starting to look tight, right and ready 🏆 next year is almost here and playtime is over. Time for the big show. Lookin' forward to watching your progress(dot). Groovy man, thankyou.🦘☮️
Yeah Buddy, training hard. Looking for that FKT.
Cheers mate for the feedback, PS Buddy is the name of my bike, it's short for "where the buddyhell are we"😅, just starting my third year constant rolling. Watching your videos with great interest 🦘☮️🦘
Thanks for the ride.
Any time!
Thanks for another great video! The D&L is on my bucket list. Safe pedaling, Steve
You must make your way to The D&L, such a great ride. Let me know when you're in town.
@@TravelingThru222 Hi again. Would love to do the D&L when I can fit into my schedule. What town are you in? Thanks and all the best, Steve
Great trail, but Pa. is so dreary in the winter months. Its that rustbelt weather, nasty. Thanx for the vid.
On the contrary. The starkness is beautiful and riding in the fall/winter is a totally different experience, especially with quiet trails. Big fan of 4 seasons weather here.
I hear ya.
100 miles is a very impressive ride! At 55 y.o. the most I could ride this season was 64 miles.
At 66 that’s about as far as I went this season. I recently retired so hopefully I can add some more miles. Riding in the dark is a great idea! Another idea I have is setting a yearly mileage goal such as 10k a year.
I JUST FINISHED UP THE BIG CYPRESS TRAIL IN FL ON WEST COAST
Awesome, sounds like a great ride.
Music would have been pretty fun without that bass part (in the first song). Bassist made it super extra fun. Hope the ride was too.
Awesome.
Shoot man it takes me all of 12-13 hours to pull off 100miles lol If I eat breakfast before hand Ill usually start getting hungry around the 40-50 mile mark if not somewhere in the 20-30mile mark, water about 1liter every 10miles (I sweat like crazy) Its nice to spend an ENTIRE day on the bike but usually I'll do 40-50mile rides without eating IE: fasting and then treat myself to a nice thick burger and cigar
That sounds awesome, smoke em up.
In your experience, is the entire D & L trail rideable all the way down to Bristol?
SKT LOL
Yeah buddy.
you need to move to a better state. that place is beautiful post apocalyptic. everyone is too lame to ride the trails. meh.
