cool vid brothuh got enough space a big hamster wheel in ther too! i been thinkin bout usin those big deep tubs and just cut holes and cover with wire rather than using a rack system just worried bout their odor gettingn trapped on the bottom of the cage and prolly sufficating them
Wow your channel actually grew! I saw a old video of yours and it’s where urban commented and you was a fan of him and you actually took his advice to take care of the rats so they don’t bite you and hurt you! This is amazing you even got them bigger bins! I don’t feed my babies lol but it’s nice to see you have a heart and don’t throw them around like a rag dog! Thank you sir have a good day!
nice rack the only thing i see that i would try and change and the only reason i say this it because i used to breed lots and lots of rats the water bottle in the side of the tub if the rats see something they can chew they will and they may chew a hole in the side of the tub... Dont get me wrong i like the look
For my rat tubs I cut a 4x4” space in the front of the tub and laid the mesh over that with a good amount of overlap. Then I put my water bottles through the mesh holes. I’m loving the extra enrichment! Going to do this when I make a rack!
Yeah you're going to want to move that lower water bottle a lil higher and to cover the old hole jus get a metal washer and hot glue it over that hole on the inside and that way you wont have to replace the tub. I also use 3" pvc and the same wire mesh capped at one end with a hose clamp and a flat hook with a clamp at the top to hang inside.
Good video. I have a rat that has her neck like your rat. She has had a litter of babies. All came out fine. I don’t plan on breeding her again. I will keep her with first time mom rats to help teach them how to care for the babies. Her personality is like the one you had. She comes right up to you and will take treats out my hand. Other rats that she is with learn from her. It’s ok to come to front of tubs when it gets opened. Even the babies come to front of tub when I open it.
no I don't sorry i hope to turn my IG into that in a way. showing all available ball pythons, showing hold backs etc. Clutchxreptiles is the IG if your interested

Lack of air flow can be a real issue. I make bin cages and I like mine to kind of look like this (not my picture) images.app.goo.gl/yHvP9jjX12MJHrXc8
Good video man !!! Keep up the good work 👍🏻👍🏻

hay cool vid just wondering can i have tub measurements as gonna make a tub cage.
i think you may find a bit better muscle mass on your rats as they well need to work them more to get there food great job with the videos
