Id get into the habit of looking for keebs that actually are innovative and different. 9/10 the majority of the keebs share the same profiles and ideas. The freya is a keeb that’s just different and does different so well imo.
Monsgeek is the best bang for the buck. I just can't agree to pay $400+ for average. The only thing cool is the WPM monitor. Which is why I like Monsgeek - I have the M5.
I was so hyped until I saw the price :( I just feel afraid that it will end up being more work than it should be to set up anything useful with the macros in any software, and hearing it has a smart phone app in development it scares me about reliability and support on stuff like that. It just doesn't feel like it'd be justify able for the cost, even though it looks exquisite...
Thanks for the input Kean! Yes the price is really steep and up there and yes its a valid feeling about having a hard time justifying the price. Now for the macros I havent switched to the 5 macro key insted of the slider but I always use my macros for work mainly for excel so for me its really useful. For the app, also another valid point in terms the reliability but as per WS they will keep that update as long as they get feedback from the community for any bugs and issues. the board is really nice, it's a grand example of the classic look blended with lots of new tech and gimmicks (the slider and huge display is gorgeous), but the pricing tho!!! this one is feel "pricey" because I think this board only sells for "the aesthetic", I'm not really find this board is goated in terms of "mechanical keyboard character". Especially the freya ultra which I specifically like... I wish the price is somewhere 300-350 for ultra, but the 449 is kinda hard for me to justify. And on my local GB runner, the price convertion is closer to 490 dollar. But for those who find this board a looker and have the money, I think it's great collection
Honestly good points around there, yes I can say this board is for aesthetic specially if you get the ultra version. but for a seasoned enthusiast this might be a good for their collection! Thank you for providing your insight and sorry for the delayed response.

Detailed review as always! Kinda sad this needs foam for it to sound good, but value-wise I think it's still a good and nice sounding board.
How's the keycaps to something like Shenpo or GMK? Do they have something like banana spacebar?

Front height seems a bit too much especially at this price category.
