I had a 1971 firebird back in the mid 80s, Showroom condition, It had 7k miles when I bought it for $3,700 Loved that car, wish I'd held on to it. Also had a 72 olds Cutlass swooped back, another beauty, bought in 1987 with 3,500 miles for $1,500 also mint condition Both garaged at all times. Also a 74 f350 super camper special, mint condition, 6k for $400.00 in 1995. Guy got it from his passed uncle, thought the motor was junk, just had a gov on the throttle. Had many wonderful cars back in the day, wish I still had them all.

Hey Rob, glad to see this one....things dont always go in our favor, reality is that things don't always work out and you have to walk away. Love Firebirds, too bad for them! Thanks, for bringing the goods. Really like seeing your deals, things sell quick from your lot from what I've seen so far.
She wanted 30k for cars that didn't run, never been cared for, never washed, most had flat old tires on them and just rotting in barn. Lady was nuts. People who treat cars like that shouldn't own them!! At least clean them or cover them..they looked horrible!
As a project guy, the most frustrating thing is when sellers that aren't willing to put any money or time into their car, think they should profit from my time and labor. They can keep it and let it rot! 😡
I bought a new 1969 400 with ram air scoops for $2961 in October 1969. The only cars that could beat me off the line was a 69 Trans am and a 70 454 chevelle.
West Virginia cars beware ! I lived in Beckley and bought what I thought was a restored 1974 Z/28. Unfortunately, it was ate up with rust that had been hidden with undercoating.
If she knew she could get 50% more than you were offering, why would she even spend the time with you at all?? I have a feeling that the car is still in the barn.
Probably hoping the guy actually there to buy, with plenty of cash in hand, would offer more than 15... Looks like she was hoping to turn it into a bidding war between two buyers.
She ended up selling all 3 cars to the developer for $30k. I assume he bought them because he’s trying to do business so he can buy the farm and make millions.
