People don't realize they are making a mistake renting because your paying someone else's mortgage and putting a few hundred dollars cash flow in their pocket every month. When you buy a house your net worth instantly goes up and every payment you pay is like a savings account you have access to whenever you want and it naturally grows the longer you pay the payment. For example, you you pay 1,200 a month in rent for 10 years to someone thats 144,000 dollar you gave them. If you pay the mortgage of 1,200 a month for 10 years you'll have $144,000 in equity that you can access 75% of when ever you need so you'd have roughly $110,000 if you need it. Your teaching him right and I hope he listens to you and understands the reasoning behind it.

Jimmy seems like a nice guy and is probably needed to save the company but when it comes to watches he has already admitted that he's not that interested in them. He was hired for his business skills and to help grow the company. Not for his knowledge of watches.

Buying a house versus renting is like buying a car versus leasing. Yes, you are the owner but don’t forget housing prices are an unsustainable bubble now like watches were and will come down after doubling and in some regions tripling in the last few years as houses don’t only appreciate. Throw in higher interest rates and growing which will lower prices with less demand, your first 10 years of payments on your 30 year home loan go to interest. Also don’t forget about maintenance, landscaping and a new roof. If you can afford it, you should buy a house if you need more space or are going to start a family but just don’t say always renting is a bad idea when you can rent for far less than what your monthly property taxes would be especially in the Northeast and California. ✌️ It’s debatable whether or not we’re in or entering a recession since unemployment is still low, but consumers are much less optimistic about their finances now and have less disposable income due to inflation so watches are going to continue to drop so I would only consign, not tie up my money, and have any downside risk if I was a dealer.
That is going to be a very bright store. I have a few of those for my shoes and they are super bright. Additionally when someone touches the hovering shoe even slightly, the magnet gets thrown off. Wish the best for the opening!

That woman at the show actually answered my question that I’ve had ever since the Euro dropped. I’ve asked several people who have visited whether they felt that they were paying more now in Europe, and if the prices seemed jacked up. Everybody said that the food definitely seemed more expensive, but other than that, they didn’t feel much of a difference. I find it interesting, because each time that I’ve gone to Italy, I’ve always paid 40-60% more as the price of Euro was $1.40 and up each time that I went. I’ve felt it mostly in food, just as everyone else has said.
I dont know how the Americans do it, but most of my dealers here think in CHF and translate that to eur. Since the CHF-EUR rate didn't really do anything crazy like the USD rate it's kind of irrelevant to us here in Europe.
