This is my current mission as well, I'm ok outside in acro but inside is just damn weird lol, @Nick Burns says to practice in angle gradually increasing angle limit in betaflight to get used to it.
I have been flying fpv for about 20 hours total. Build more quads than I fly haha. But glad it's not only me finding it hard to fly acro in house with a mobula7 1s. I'm sticking to angle for now. Outside seems a bit better with acro. Keep up the great work.
Thanks man . Yeah arco with a whoop is hard in smaller spaces but just gotta keep at it and you'll get it 💪 you know what they say , if you aren't crashing you arnt learning 😉
Yeah, it should . But depending on your camera angle, you may think you are perfectly level but be pitched forward slightly and this could be why it moves forward a bit
@@ts13fpv My camera angle is 20. What I am trying to do is to just use throttle and I suppose quad should go straight up (am I right here?), but it goes up and then lean a bit forward (which makes it move forward without any sticks (except of trottle) being pressed)
I dont know why people catch shit for flying ANY quad in angle mode. I fly all my quads in angle mode. From whoops to x class. I have it on a switch and Im able to switch it off when I want to do flips and stuff. Angle mode is just easier to fly. Especially when Im flying a $1500 15" quad that could potentially kill me if I crash into myself or someone else. Acro is just hard. I dont like how if you yaw or pitch it just keeps going. Its so hard to correct if you over adjust. Thats just me,. If you fly in air mode and love it great, It's not for me.
Nothing wrong with flying angle mode man . I also have it on a switch on my tx . I do find it depends on the type of flying you want to do . Angle mode is extremely liming if you want to do bando bashing , diving in and out of roof gaps and stuff 😄 I flew nothing but angle mode when I first started and still do from time to time on my whoops . I'll never give anyone shit for flying what or how they want to . Do what you enjoy man 🤟 thanks for watching and commenting
I feel your pain 😅 but it does get easier if you do it every day, you'll even get used to power looping indoors after a while ... Love the swearing 🤣🤘
🤣 thanks mate , was getting a bit frustrated 😠 I'm gonna have a few packs everyday and see if I get any better by Feb 👍
@@ts13fpv if it helps I used to use heavier 650mah batteries to stabilise it more when I first went acro but it does increase drift a bit.
Using 550s at the moment. I'll order some 650s and try them out 👍
mate such a good video 😂 acro sucks but its also super addictive, looking forward to the progress, the rolls at the end look super smooth!
Genuinely surprised how difficult it was 🤣 but like I said in the vid , I'm gonna give my self a month then come back and whoop acros ass 🤟🤣

Yeah man . Indoors is a different ball game . Good advice 👍 I'll give that a try
niceeee I've been following nick but haven't heard him said that, I'm struggling with acro too, I'll give this a try!! 🥳 thanks for sharing!!
hahah, so funny vid, bro! 😆 but yeah, i feel your pain, acro with whoop is a totally different thing 😶🌫🥲🤯
I couldn't believe how much harder than a 5 inch it was . Gonna practice for a month then try again 🤞

Hilarious, awesome vid bro 💯✌️❤️
🤣 thanks man . Just trying to find something to do when as the weather has been awful for the last few weekends
Really enjoyed watching that "shit show" 😂😂 Great vid...Making me want to dust off my acrobee!!
🤣 thanks mate . I usually just fly the whoop in angle so I thought I'd challenge myself . Genuinely surprised how difficult it was .
@@ts13fpv I only tried it once and never again.... Good luck pal
Killing it! I run actual rates 10mid 850max and 80 expo till I ran that massive expo I hated acro whoops indoor
Thanks for watching 👍 I've added 0.3 expo and its helped a lot , might add a little more to see what it's like
Hell Yeah cant wait to see in February
Was surprised how much more difficult than a 5 inch it was . Hopefully be a bit better in Feb 🤣
Does your whoop goes straight up when you press only throttle? Because mine goes up and a bit forward. Want to fix it
Try calibrating the accelerometer in betaflight . This should help
@@ts13fpv thank you! But will it help in acro/air mode?
Yeah, it should . But depending on your camera angle, you may think you are perfectly level but be pitched forward slightly and this could be why it moves forward a bit

adjust your rates to suit, use "actual" rates..always flown acro indoors here...just practise and practise😃
Thanks mate . It's gonna to some time but I'll get it 👍

Feckin' pain in the arse, innit? Need a slightly larger space to practice. 😁
Yeah, a lot more difficult than a 5 inch .I could do with a bigger house 🏠 I might take it to work and get some practise at break times 👍
