  • Using the Maxxair Deluxe fan exhaust mode to pull fresh air from the outside with an open window will create a draft in your camper that feels nice and cool. Try to find air that is shading such as from the cabover area of your truck camper or the shaded side of your van.
    Products mentioned:
    Maxxair Deluxe Fan: amzn.to/3xEqpxb
Anker Solix C1000 Power Station: amzn.to/3XJ0z5Q
This method works great in my OVRLND Campers truck camper. It'll work great in all campers including Four Wheel Campers Project M, Tune M1, Topo Toppers, Kimbo Campers, and any RV or van that has a fan with exhaust mode.

How does hot outside air cool the inside?

You're taking air from a shaded area outside and pulling it into the camper and up and out the fan (top). This creates a draft, making the camper feel cooler akin to a strong fan blowing. It's better than the camper just sitting collecting hot air and having it trapped inside. In my experience the camper cools 3-4 degrees and if the camper is insulated like mine it doesn't have to fight the sun as much. It's not going to feel like the AC is on but it'll make your living space tolerable.
