The way you hooked it up is correct and the little “capacitor” is a filter for the tweeter. It filters out lower frequencies of sound so that the tweeter only plays that range of Hz that the filter allows. WELCOME BACK CUUHH
I will refer crossover for tweeters for better protection, great job on Sound deadening, i did my whole back wall in my truck just need a bigger foam deadener for flooring, roof & doors
Hey bro jus my 2 cents but love these step by steps fun to wtch and it gives a feeling of being there wtchin in person but its your channel do whatcha want but love all the moves bein made always evolving ✊🏽
I just put some infinity kappa components in my 09 Silverado and I bought a 5 inch door boot off eBay and drilled my own holes for the wire looks clean and on eBay they sell speaker mounts that are thicker plastic makes it real solid
If it were me, I would run that set up active. Your amp has built in crossovers, might as well make use of them. Its a bit more work to run all the wire but youre there doing it anyway. Running active means having separate runs to the amp. A run for each speaker.
When you set up a speaker with a tweeter in the amp with full pass, does the speaker pick up the high frequencies that the tweeter gets? Or all those high frequencies are only played by the tweeter.
Just go cheap with sound deadening. It doesn’t make too much of difference between brands. Sound deadening definitely makes a good difference in quality. I did 80 mil Kilmat butyl and 100 mil foam insulator over it. Sounds great and surprising helps with keeping the hot/cool AC in my truck for longer.
I'm trying to install my speakers on my doors to.i only have a keywood radio,2 6x9 ,2 dash speakers . I don't have No amp no cross over were can I connect it to?
On my nbs, the oem dr has a tweeter when I swap them out the oem wire from the 61/2 are the same color wire that run to the tweeters, I think u be ok. I think it Matters when ur running something bigger them 4 channel amp, how much did u spend on the Material for the 2 doors

Thank you bruh!
Would a wire tap (aka t-tap) work ok for the tweeters?
Yeah they work to an extent but there are actual bass blocker for the tweeters. Let me find them I’ll past the link here.
Also so you don’t overload the amp on the ohms you can combine your speakers with the tweeters as a component set with crossovers.
Crossovers eliminates the use of bass blockers. Saludos from Chitown keep up the good work bro.

You’re going to need a crossover to wire the tweeter to the mids like that.
It’ll turn the 1 channel coming in, into two separate channels and help isolate the highs to mids better.
@@luismurillo23 what if you run tweeters just to the deck wires??
@@royridge7792 you can, the only issue is that you’re going to get a really distorted output. The crossover helps clean out the outgoing signal
Just ordered mine for my rear doors,, they are 5.25 hope they play well,,

I love that Tundra right behind you in the very first clip. Also I'm looking at some of these speakers
Does it have a crossover bro? Should be like a lil amp looking box where u hook up the mid n tweeter then to the amp...should be labeled
4:56 I was thinking of that before he said it. We is so funny week up worth the good videos
I installed mid range speakers last Saturday and omg bro they are so loud and clear
Hey bro are you using amplifier whit this speakers?
@@albertosalomon7342 if you want full potential from mids and highs it's best to run them off a 4 channel amp instead of the head unit

How does it sound with those speakers? Need to replace all 4 of mine in my 2500hd silverado and i like what you did with yours.
Fairly new to car audio and looking to get the same set up in my Silverado, does the sound Mat actually make difference? Pros/cons?
