This is seriously one of the best if not THE best behind the scenes/making of series I have ever seen. Incredibly well done, glad you're checking it out.
Love that you guys are reacting to this. Honestly made my love for Arcane even bigger, watching how they craft everything and how the odds were so against them. My only suggesting is to please pause whenever you guys have a thought because you already know by now, they waste no time and are dropping a lot of knowledge. I would hate for you guys to miss something important.
@@DeeEss424 Definately agree with your first section! They did an amazing job crafting the journey of the first season! And yeah, we usually don't like pausing in shows a bunch after every thought we have because that would get annoying especially when you have multiple people with multiple thoughts., but with this docuseries its a little different, seems like we're going to have to figure out a way to adjust for the best viewer expirience. But we've already rewatched both episodes off camera as well and usually do with most shows so we'll be set for the next parts 👌🏾😁
Appreciate ya reacting to this, I think it is by far one of best documentaries out there for behind the scenes on making of something. It alone is better some own entertainment such as movies or tv shows which says a lot about how much they prioritize characters and story telling. Honestly never thought about it before, but I bet they had a production team create a outline for this documentary and outlined "character motives and lines." Just kind of funny if you think about it that way lol. While not as long, the only other two documentaries I enjoy even close is "Remaking a Legend - Halo 2 Anniversary" and "Grounded - Making of Last of Us video game"
@@michaelcarlson1208 yeah, I have friends who strictly work in documentary style videos and they do the same storyboarding process and development pre-production as I do, it's pretty crazy to think about! The problem with talking about bad adaptations is that you don't want to write down games that you liked in them, because in order for them to become good, it didn't take that much… So, for example, Resident Evil could be called good if that limited to 2-3 films, since the general atmosphere in the first two was not bad. Max Payne had a budget, and it was not badly staged… But there is nothing from the original source in it ... well, if you don't want to play, you would get acquainted with the passage, and even just watch all the videos between missions. Every time I see films like this, I realize that this is just a missed opportunity, but often we don't know who is to blame… Except for WarСraft… There we know for sure that Blizzard is to blame.
@@JohnSmithVGA No that's an excellent point! It's hard coming from a film making background , because there's just so many elements that attribute to a films success.
