the song in the Arcane lore context is about the character Viktor, he has the ability to "seize" the dead, he's able to heal and resurrect, but also use them as messengers. viktor loses himself in this. you can definitely see inspiration tyler has taken from this in tøp lore! this show is amazing, definitely watch!
The character that's featured in this is named Viktor and he's a crippled, disease struck scientist who wants to better the world and rid it of suffering. Over the course of the series his pains grow stronger as he gets more desperate and drives everyone around him away. He eventually gains new found abilities that let him heal people and conglomerate into a society of peace. At this point of the series where the song takes place he's at a crossroads where he will cross a brutal line in which to continue his mission. At this point, all of the people he healed are dying and he decided on connecting all of their minds to him and push forth to "ascend" and become higher-level beings in exchange for their free will. It is however, needed to be said, that all of the people he healed were cripples, disease-ridden, drug addicts, etc. who all had terrible lives that never thought would be redeemed, they all willingly chose to be "ascended".
Wow. People like you baffle me. It takes a special kind of selfishness to not only spoil the climax of the penultimate episode of the entire Arcane series for this UA-cam creator, but also for anyone else who might be curious enough to read through these comments. I pity you.😢
@ That’s no excuse. You certainly realize people will read through the comments. There’s a reason people hate spoilers. At very least, you could simply type “SPOILERS” at the beginning of your comment. /smh
@@ISpiers "I pity you" Can you get off your high horse and chill a little bit? She literally asked for context to the show and this person provided it. Read the room homie, your pity is not needed.
I can assure you that you will definitely cry watching the show. It is literally the best emotional rollercoaster of a show I've ever experienced. It is based on a fantasy world but the first Season is really grounded and everything just feels so real. The soundtrack for both Seasons is a banger and not one song feels out of place because they are made specifically for the show and you can connect multiple characters to the lyrics of a single song.
I haven't watched the show... but this might be near the top among the clancy era of twenty one pilots. One thing i will say is that the clique has made a connection from the paladin strait MV to the line to the beginning of Overcompensate... and it really fits in perfectly.
You should try it out! Just watch til episode 3 of s1 and that should convince you to finish the series! If that’s not the case, you wouldn’t like the rest anyway.
Tyler himself said the Riot production sent him the Viktor scenes (can’t remember from which episodes) to inspire from, he’s the shining guy you see here pretty much and he finished the song in just 3 days and it’s just so beautiful, mainly because of his grandma 😢 Also more Arcane lore, it’s about the character Vander too, the wolf like creature you see in the music video, they are getting rid of all of his memories from his family and himself. Cant say more I could spoil it but it’s worth watching 100%, the whole soundtrack of the show hits more once you know what is it about!
for those who may not fully see....LISTEN to the very end of "The Line" it flows right into Overcompensate. Tyler wrote this song after Navigating and it follows Clancy debating on "Crossing Over the line" to becoming a Bishop. He's asking The Torchbearer (Josh) to not be disappointed and not forget him for making this decision. Clancy needs to take on Nico from the other side.
A reaction I was looking forward to. The line is what we all needed to get from Tyler.. this is how he really feels too 😭 the importance of his own evolution for the greater good 👍 👏 🙌
Arcane is one of the best animated shows of all times. Highly recommend to watch it.
Agreed! The character building is amazing and the animation is pure art.

@@ISpiers It's a song for the literal second to last episode, everyone has seen arcane if they search it up and if they get spoiled it's their fault.

The show is cinema. Definitely would recommend it.
The show is ABSOLUTELY worth watching, the animation and sountrack alone are top tier

I would say Its the saddest song when you watch the arcane scene when it comes on
Hannah: "maybe something sad happens in the show"
Me, who's seen Arcane: HAHAHAH you have no fucking idea
Wouldn’t recommend arcane. Great visuals though.
