They are kaolin and porcelain clay mixed in a 6:4 ratio. The amount of water is about twice the volume of the raw materials.

I am curious, can you reconstitute the slip if it dries out, say, by breaking it back down into a powder and then adding it to water, or do you have to discard if it dries out before using?

Yes. When the slip dries, it can be dissolved in water for reuse.

Here in the US we would describe you as a "double threat"....meaning someone who is good at two things. In your case good at ceramics and now good at video.
