Bro i never knew they offered heated seats for the prelude! I got one myself and have seen a few but never seen one with heated seats. Right on mate 👌🏼
Nice! I still daily my black 97 Prelude SH. I bought back in 2002 and haven't done much maintenance beyond consumables, but she's still fun to drive and refuses to die. All major parts are factory original. The clear coat is shot though - but understandable for having lived outside for over 2 decades.
Looks good, definitely try to get the rust fixed first, it’s probably going to be the hardest part of the project. Also it’s probably not super high priority but the inner brake light bulbs are burnt out on both sides, a lot of Prelude owners have the inner or outer bulbs burn out and they never notice lol. Manual swap would be awesome, you can use a 5 speed out of an F series Accord but it’ll have a lot longer gearing than the Prelude transmission. Really nice to see someone in Canada taking the time to restore a Prelude some would scrap.
Thanks for the suggestions! Currently looking into the manual swap and the rust repairs as well as some other mods. I’ll try my best to get in much better condition
the radio code should be in the owners manual black plastic folder , 4 digit code the BB6 auto transmission lasts as long as you change the Transmission fluid more often then what the manual recommends , also might be good idea to install a cheap after market transmission cooler if you plan on keeping the car as auto. also never shift from D4 to manual mode while the car is in motion. I had the SRS light on for over 15 years lol... , it has to be manually reset , I tripped the SRS light when i was painting the bezel gauge rings and had unplugged the entire front gauge cluster, this was an easy mod and well worth it to fix the rear wheel panel rust , you can find a used front fender and cut out the arch and weld it in the rear , its the same radius front and rear , can I ask you how much did you buy the prelude for $ ? this will be a great unique project car and the Prelude's handling is simply amazing for a FWD car
400Subs!
YESSIRRRR WELCOME MY BRO!!!

The radio code should be on a sticker on the very back of the glove compartment. You will have to remove the glove to see it.

I believe in you! Just promise me you’ll get one better than mine 😂
@@SCVRLETT thank you bro! i can only promise you i can get a prelude, but not better than yours ahaha

Hyped to see your progress, I helped my friend build two of his and one was the same gen here
So jealous of the heated seats, I’m out here with a 09 civic and I don’t even have them😭. I definitely wanna see a trans swap in the future 😂😂
Balljoints, timing belt, fuel filter, sway bar bushings
New Jack is fire
You can change the polish
I guess you can say the exhaust is exhausted
I like the chrome

@@SCVRLETT great deal 👍 , you can't find anything fun to drive for that price
5 speed swap my dude. You'll love it
i want to manny swap mine can you tell me what trannys fit besides the prelude one i hear its not to great
@@teylerverner7463 any F or H series transmissions will fit
Dang I’m seeing a lot of prelude content ! Had 2 sub man. Keep it going 💯
Means a lot boss, thanks!
I have a 99 5,speed And although stick shift is satisfying, the car is slow. The nostalgia factor and handling is its main appeal.
Wheels are backwards.. but yea of course.. if manual!
hey man i’m watching your vid and we have identical cars. from rims and the dual exhaust and i found that really funny haha
and the cracking window chrome stuff
That’s crazy 😂
Manual swap would be sick!
Straight pipe it!!
shit now i want one
If I’m keeping it a buck with you, that ain’t no polish 😂 that’s coolant but other than that sick car
how much you get it for?
The Lude is the best
Just call honda give them ur vin on the phone they will give a code
Prelude auto transmission is horrible
