In all the years I went to Rice Lake, I never saw that many boats clustered together like that on the lake.

Time for municipalities and the province to ensure proper public access to our lakes. With thousands of cottage owners on Rice Lake and few public parking facilities at public ramps, what does a resident expect when they purchase or manage a property that borders on an access point?

I saw my trailer and truck, I walk for 1 mile just want park well and legal. Did not see any boater owner block any drive way it is common sense.

There is no wrong for people fishing on rice lake , no matter local or no local. In video I see people parking quite well most of them try their best to park as close to road side as possible. And also the boater MNR check all legally keep fish.The solution is municipal should set up a public trailer parking lot, of course pay parking is acceptable.
