I enjoy how you break down different subjects into seperate videos rather than making a half hour long lecture. It helps me understand and retain while feeling accomplished that I have mastered the teachings of separate lessons. Keep up the format!
Thanks for this great video Trui! I have a question; is there any possible way to re-arrange the timers that you've already made? I've added some new ones over time that I'd like to see pop up first but don't see an option anywhere. Thank you much! 👍🏼
That's a good question! I actually haven't used this bot for a while as I use a lot of different ones to be able to show how they work. I don't remember being able to do that, however here is some documentation: Streamlabs chatbot docs: www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=cdn.streamlabs.com/chatbot/Documentation_Twitch.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwjwx5PfgICEAxV98rsIHekXAoMQFnoECBEQAQ&usg=AOvVaw2Hk0gZwELHuM3Panh49fTP Old Ankhbot (previous name) docs: silo.tips/download/ankhbot-r2-documentation
Hi Trui! Do I need to have streamlabs chatbot running in the background while streaming for this to work? Or if its not running will my timers still go off?
hey!! love your videos they have helped me out sooo much!! im currently working with 2 different bits trying to decide which i like!! they both basically do the same thing. My quetsion is i cant seem to get my timers spaced enough to not pile up in chat. if i set for example my welcome Timer for 15 minutes should my next timer be set for 20 minutes? im just trying to find that sweet spot!! thank you!!
The chatbot should put them in order and keep the time in between them that you set. The Cloudbot doesn't do that sadly and it's annoying. On streamelements you can add multiple timers into 1 to not make them go off at them same time. I hope this helped :)
I'm always in a struggle, because I stream via Imac, which is connected to my gaming pc though the hd60s+. So the Chatbot wouldn't know what game I'm playing because the information is on the gaming pc right? Or doesn't it matter because it is a browser source? Good video btw
Is there a way to set different timers for different messages? Like if I wanted one message to show every 15 minutes but another message I only want to show every hour?
Find all of these videos on how to create timers, no one does what to do when timers don't post in chat and not working, I have streamlabs as my moderator and enabled. Chat stays active, not sure why they don't show
I can't speak for any of the videos that aren't mine. Streamlabs Chatbot is something else than Streamlabs Cloudbot, mind you. If you want to use Streamlabs Cloudbot use this tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/GxOme_OLFR4/v-deo.html Alright so if you actually wanted to use the Streamlabs Chatbot, you need to setup the bot first. You can see how to do that here: ua-cam.com/video/TJ8KNmJU3VE/v-deo.html
You can't with Streamlabs Chatbot as this chatbot runs locally on the streamers PC. You can use StreamElements for example. But the streamer themselves need to make an account first and add you as mod. After that you can edit anything you like in the bot. Hi Trui! Do I need to have streamlabs chatbot running in the background while streaming for this to work? Or if its not running will my timers still go off?

The bot knows the game because of the Twitch category so you're good 😉

Not 100% sure but I don't think so. I know you can do it in Streamlabs Cloudtbot, StreamElements or Nightbot. I hope that helps you!
Is there a way to randomize the order of the timers?
I don't think so 🤔
@@trui Aw, damn. Well thanks anyways for the reply!
I have made many timers and they are activated but they re not working? :(
Did you connect the bot to your Twitch and turned on timers?

@@trui ok I mod for a streamer like how do I change or make a timer for a command to show in chat ? Say every ten minutes (editor)
ty the new update is much easier than this
Thanks for watching!
Didn't work for me lol.
Ow no! Where did you run into problems?
@@trui did exactly what you did for the timer and it wouldn’t go off automatically.
Did you click away the program? Connect it to your Twitch?
@@trui no I don’t think I did, and yes
