I have a friend who owns one of those electrified Vehicles he took a trip to Florida and it was a horror story trying to find electric stations and it added almost double the time in his travel and three times the anxiety as his battery continued to weaken and there was no place to charge his vehicle except places that had five people in front of you so you had to sit there for 2 hours to get charged up. Electric cars are going to destroy this country it must not be allowed! It is designed to control people they can shut you off if you do not kiss their ring and it's under the guise of pollution environmental bull crap when all you got to do is study all the pollution involved with mining those lithium batteries and exotic minerals globally and then of course they're charged up by coal fired power plants. It's absolute madness! Oh yeah, then you got to throw those poisonous batteries into our landfills in water supply after they are used up in 4 or 5 years if you're lucky. Total insanity! It's not for the good of America but for the elite only
I've heard the same stories. Electric is great if you are in a 15 minute city, but not in the country, not long trips, not extreme cold.

Why does filling one up cost 0.59 cents a kwh when electricity is 0.17 cents a kwh. isn't that price gouging. and could you imagine what will happen to the price when we all have electric cars , it will be outrageous what they charge us.

You know if your senator wasnt dumb as a brick and cared about this issue then he should be supporting development of EV technologies that arent as dependent on materials primarily sourced in China.
When your politicians go on a tirade about Lithium EVs helping china but dont support nickel based batteries it really illustrates how clueless these people truly are........ EVs are flat out a more efficent technology for vehicular transportation. This coupled with likely increases of carbon taxation will lead to a long term decline in ICVs. So wtf would you not get ahead of the material supply issue and advocate for battery technologies that are reliant on materials not predominately sourced in China and support domestic increases in all battery material mines in the US?
The fact Hawley doesnt do this truly shows how at best disingenuous he is to at worst how incompetent he truly is on this issue.
