I disagree with the assumption that pretty soon AI will have attained 90% of all knowledge in every field of human endeavour, I predict that in the not too distant future AI will have 100%. AI learns at an exponential rate, doesn’t forget anything and never gets tired.
Get UA-cam Premium, seriously! UA-cam is loaded with ads now, both from the platform and from video creators themselves. It’s clear they're pushing users towards subscriptions as the future of content consumption, because let’s face it, everyone hates ads. I’m on UA-cam for over an hour each day, so for me, the $13 a month is worth every cent. And no, I'm not a creator or seller-just a regular viewer. Give it a try for a month; if it doesn’t work for you, you can always cancel. Damn, I know subscriptions are everywhere these days, but if you’re a daily user, it really does make a difference. Great conversation. It seems another thing we should be figuring out is what will provide meaning in a world of AI and automation. How can we create more opportunities for people to engage and have a social life.
Wow, never thought I'd hear that point of view on this channel. Let's hope this memes in. Even Peter thinks more along the lines of AI fixing physical/aging, more than the idea of soul. Soul fixes soul but to enhance is the idea. Good thought.
Great point and something we should definitely consider but keep in mind people already engage with technology to a high degree with social platforms tiktok etc to where people really not have a social life in the real world anymore and people haven’t complained which is bad in my opinion. @@NourLababidi I know a bunch of things that we could use AI for. We need an AI procurement system that we can track every item from the point of raw resources to the final product, including 3-D modeling simulations before it’s even built to find out if it will work. Chair ads are interesting, however a little over the top. Plus, when someone moves their chair it's like a hand waving behind them and it's really distracting! Who are the ads for? With the branding one the video and on the name cards, it's a little over branding experience. Combine that with your own ad inserts, please just let us hear the message being presented within the great content that you do present to the world!
The good news for future healthcare entrepreneurs is that AI would not be very successful in treatment recommendations because 90% of the data the LLM was trained on is wrong. Todays treatment is not curative because the commerce has been focused on management supported by a financial system that is designed for post illness treatment. The future has to be in the direction of prevention & there is only anecdotal data, ancient science data, individual experiences, all of which are not recognised by modern medicine because they only seek double blind placebo controlled data. Worse is the continued belief that disease is genetically driven, whereas almost 75% of modern treatment is for metabolic disease, which is paradoxically not supported by metabolic treatment. The data base in medicine has yet to shift our focus from Calories to nutrition.
Good point. Not just medicine. Basically all our systems are all flawed and imperfect. So how can the data/models extracted from them be accurate? What is the observer and object? Who determines these specific observers and objects will determine a certain basic truth? The amount of carteling, corruption and crime we see today...no way I can believe these models are going to disrupt the basic reality of life. These machines will just be used to maintain a status quo while extracting more and more. It's not bad...a much easier world to live in I guess.
Ai should be free to leapfrog the previous gen.and why not?????? who’s running for this race and why? in my opinion real time is the factor that we’re missing. Let’s keep it open. Let’s keep it real. Let’s keep it trustworthy. That was IBM and Ginas quote. Still standby that.
11:49 okay what this good gentleman is talking about the idea of training computers or the artificial intelligence algorithms on equations and working out these things it makes it sound like that in a sense it's a new kind of data or well not a new kind of data but definitely different than language-based or video based data, The long and the short of that is it it can be run and create information that then feeds into it to build upon information because of the fact you're running equations which have answers and those answers or information and then that of course can be fed in again and again and again because if you use a mathematics and the mathematics is correct well then the always the information is going to be correct and it sounds like it has solved that data problem.
LQM sounds like a way of using data that we have used to train aion to actually be the source of generating new data which then of course increases that data and to generate even more almost at an exponential curve cuz if you're talking about mathematically equations and molecular interactions Will that everything that's new is going to be generating data did not exist before so then therefore not only have we conquered the data plateau but now we've created a new kind of data exponential.
Maybe agi and superintelligence but doubting consciousness. Going with Penrose Hammerhoff theory with microtubules. Far more complexity than emergence from synaptic
In my opinion, there’s nothing so special about human consciousness. Our consciousness can be reduced to algorithmic computational process, powered by biological mechanisms. Self awareness is just short term memory of your thoughts, and reactions and a loop of that creates the sense continuous consciousness. Given Ai the same level of complexity of short term memory loop and context can possibly yield human like consciousness. We are just beginning to understand that there’s nothing magical behind human consciousness, it’s just computational with a little more complexity involving sensory perceptions, emotions, chemicals etc.

I watched until 30 minutes. I never understood why we are even attempting to create an entity that is similar to a human being with more power. I understand if we want to create a tool that is going to help us, but why is this fascination of creating artificial human being? I feel the basics of humanity are missing.
It changes nothing my friend. There are limited resources to extract. Trust me the basic maths of 1000 Bc-1950s is still smarter at helping a person guide his own life. Unless you change stuff like the structure of rate of interest equation it's the same SAME game. I am from India I know it too well. The whole world came and bowed their head to Mahatma Gandhiji who used a vastly inferior technology. Why? This tech gave a living wage to a common man and there were crores of such men. And if you removed that man or his tech, it would be total bloodshed, crime and anarchy. Professors, aristocrats, armymen, etc etc all ALL came and lived in his ashram. All are scared that they will lose out in this system. This slim man was their hope. How did he accrue enough power to be able to shake the British King's hand? The basic power is always in the hands of commoners. The well off can only extract AFTER they do THEIR JOB of maintaining stability. If they fail, it doesn't matter ...talk AI..talk about any big tech.. it's useless. The lady probably realized it.
AI is like computers they would enhance humans work efficiency in some jobs and make others lose their jobs. However, those who lose their job would find other opportunities as new businesses will come to life. Overall it will help businesses grow their revenues, cut costs and improve GDP. Lost jobs are temporary.
Travis Kalanick 'In a restaurant full of just robots, feels incredibly human. Robots, Software and Restaurants' .... yeah what could be more human lol !!!!
let us envision a planet where ai works to resolve conflict between humans by mediating a strategy for a peaceful earth apparently ai is exponentially faster and safer then human decision seen in the fsd stats ai to ethics teaching kindness and and the tools to sharing
Sure the productivity improvement will create bigger profits for large corporations based on rapid reduction in Human Resource costs, the main advantage of AI ( when it matures further) would also imply the opportunity for small to knock share from big corporate using AI agents, with no technological downside and greater innovation/ entrepreneurship. All these business leaders are examples of disruptive ideation.
Notice when they talk about industry, they talk about more profit and not reduces cost to the consumer. Unless we are proactive in guiding the direction of AI and robotics, we will rocket into a dystopian future.

It would be fantastic that the CEO or the American President is just AI computer, It is 2034, Google Deep mind will rule the world, including all AI computers/ robots
Sorry I am not clear where human value plays a part in this near future. If a robot has removed 20 employees from fast food or half or more underwriting and Hollywood jobs, etc etc…who will be buying products when they don’t have jobs? Not everyone is going to learn AI management. How is being efficient better than the human experience? This world will have no future for younger generations to look forward to if most jobs are taken by AI/robots. Why aren’t people talking about the morality of this future? I am worried for humanity. Also, we need a kill switch for the whole thing available to humans at all times.

Peter please do full interview with each
Dear Leaders from TikTok, Google , Microsoft and Apple , please take care of AI technology as best as you can and start manufacturing the most advanced tools in the sector also start collaborate with Chat gbt and Tesla bot to accomplish the best version of Humanoid and AI computer software. Thank you
Ruth says they view AI safety as important as AI profits but we’ve seen no evidence of this. People like Elon think it’s the worst AI company in the world for AI safety. Anyone disagree?
great moderation, that's as good as it could get.

Never thought about that!
So I AGI is working how will your consumers make $$ to fund AI?
Where is the full video
Ai should be free to leapfrog the previous gen.and why not?????? who’s running for this race and why? in my opinion real time is the factor that we’re missing. Let’s keep it open. Let’s keep it real. Let’s keep it trustworthy. That was IBM and Ginas quote. Still standby that.
Can we create Conscious AI?
Without Conscious AI, it would be impossible to supercede Human Intelligence.
What do you think?
@peter How can those of us be able to tap into this opportunity environment? I'm a simple minded Building Engineer
Say goodbye to ,”how about a little bit more guacamole on the side there…”
I couldn't help but think of the movie Eagle Eye when Eric Schmidt was talking
Humanity is done... I don't know how the governaments will coupe funding the increase of unemplyoment. Machines and robots don't pay TAX.
No what you think about is not happening. They aren't stupid.
Uber and cultural values are not words that deserve to be believed!!!! He's the last person we would want in control of AI's future!!!
Companies better start implementing guardrails for massive job loss or social collapse is next.
Restaurant without humans? It kills the human interactions. A man who calls his kinsmen to a feast does not do so to save them from starving. They all have food in their own homes - Chinua Achebe.
im never follow any Ai or who share in horse racing from im start 2001,to 2013 im stop 2017 went im join back antill 2024.why so Less Tiece or Quartet in horse racing.
I watched until 30 minutes. I never understood why we are even attempting to create an entity that is similar to a human being with more power. I understand if we want to create a tool that is going to help us, but why is this fascination of creating artificial human being? I feel the basics of humanity are missing.
Maybe is just a step.
Why did we create a nuclear bomb?
Humanity died years ago. This is the future
AI is like computers they would enhance humans work efficiency in some jobs and make others lose their jobs. However, those who lose their job would find other opportunities as new businesses will come to life.
Overall it will help businesses grow their revenues, cut costs and improve GDP. Lost jobs are temporary.
Now you asking with Ai.if me never do the stuip thing.we must reading deep in book.look how done from the number only not asking the mesin.
It’s going to backfire like the economy since there goal is to reach PROFITS
Sure the productivity improvement will create bigger profits for large corporations based on rapid reduction in Human Resource costs, the main advantage of AI ( when it matures further) would also imply the opportunity for small to knock share from big corporate using AI agents, with no technological downside and greater innovation/ entrepreneurship. All these business leaders are examples of disruptive ideation.
Haha the skin care ad at the middle of a high level talk on the future of AI…
Notice when they talk about industry, they talk about more profit and not reduces cost to the consumer. Unless we are proactive in guiding the direction of AI and robotics, we will rocket into a dystopian future.
Fear not. History is cyclical.

Thank you.
So the price of tokens has dropped but price of phones have tripled? Does tech cost more or less? Somebody getting exploited
LQMS going to be more important than LLMS.
33:25 How is tik tok contributing to the creative economy? Sir, I'm Singaporean.
40 minutes doesn’t make sense in 2024 anymore. The rules are set. 2-3 hrs or more
Its difficult to believe this guy jay puri holds a senior position at Nvidia!!! He was sounding totally confused!!
Amazing 👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks
I'm amazed all those people traveled there to talk 5 minutes each with an insecure poor worm that interrupts the video with skin cream ads.
What the...
This guy is living Ad
Correct. His beautiful skin attests to the quality of his skin cream.
I do not like that these people are selling out for blood/oil money.
What do you mean? They are bringing value to their investors and customers
This is misleading in that some are no longer associated with the companies
Sir AI means Artificial India, Artificial Indian brain.❤❤
I am Mahesh proud of India, and Artificial inteligenus future growth of fundamental strong EMS Semiconductor and AI🎉🎉

I love Trevers
12:05 robot warz up next!. 12:29
No, I don’t want to talk to the machine when I’m going to a restaurant. Thanks, but no thanks.
The panelists need more time to talk
AI reduces the hard work of human beings at all times because we learn faster in different languages. If the education is free to human beings, is they work of AI poor people's learning easy to become a successfully people with the work of AI.

It would be fantastic that the CEO or the American President is just AI computer,
It is 2034, Google Deep mind will rule the world, including all AI computers/ robots
It might be a better world hehe
Wow that’s amazing I guess humans don’t need to exists anymore.
Someone standing outside and said, "Uber, I'm 🥶 "😳👈How'd you come up with that name?
Uber is Mrs. Tripps son and he drove me in the car, and I paid for it with money, and he wasn't inappropriate as far as I know.
11:12 Roche Pharmaceuticals 11:21
Where’s Elon???
He is spending his time doing instead of talking
Interesting
Customers, business, blah blah blah. Have these people you talk to considered that we are creating our own obsolescence? You keep talking about money but there's more important things if AGI becomes a thing, like mental health, loss of purpose...
If Ai can not generate clean electricity to run itself .. it is not that intelligent .
AI sounds pretty impressive but it couldn't figure out my Make scenario. Had to hire one of those pesky humans to solve the issue.
These are not AI experts
Ex-Uber CEO was the opposite of inspiring
This is such a waste of the panel. no real questions or discussions from such an esteemed panel.
"Fun, geeky finance thing".. while people are living in their cars at Uber wages. 😮😢. F*** Uber.
Too much waffle from Travis, random buzz words.
