I find that watching others organize is soothing. I may not do it... but nice to watch. Thanks
I am happy for you...just because I love that you craft care-free and don't pay much attention to every little detail.
Thanks! I am happy to find others who feel the same :)
I stayed with you to celebrate the organized finished paper clip drawer and the dash out to the appointment. Congratulations, you deserve it.
You are so fortunate to have so many stamps with such nice storage. It is not always possible to figure out how best to arrange them.
Someone mentioned map drawers...they are gorgeous but too expensive...only in my dreams :)
You are a light in the dark so let it shine!!
I am in the midst of a huge destash. It inspires me to have you on in the background doing something similiar. My goal is to get it down to just what I have used within the last 6 months. Not easy for any of us when we can think of million things to make with one thing.
I love craft organization videos! I'm constantly re-doing mine. In fact, I just moved several things around. This time it started because I needed to move my new printer to a safer location. Thanks for sharing!
Such a satisfying feeling
My puppy sleeps with her Lambchop, too! We call her Lambie and it’s her baby and she carries it around in her mouth when she gets up in the morning. ❤️
I love that drawer cabinet. Get drawer organizers for those stamps instead of using the rubber bands. You can get them at the dollar tree and yes they're long enough.
like you I also have a bunch of drawers that every once in a while they take n a life of their own. That is when things really get interesting.
I definitely would not want all those drawers to keep in order! So exhausting! Tyfs!
Oh ponytail holders work better than rubber bands for keeping stuff together! 💕
Parentheses ( ), Brackets [ ], Braces { } ... in the USA. Lamb Chop and Shari Lewis. Now I feel like "that" guy... I love this video because I find organization videos very motivational. For that matter I enjoy most of your videos. You are very relatable and creative. I think your videos are down to earth and you make crafting look and feel very doable. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!
Good job I like how you reorganize your your drawersl
I just happened to stumble across your page while organizing my paper embellishments. The way you are with your stamps is the way I am with my paper embellishments 😂🤣. I cant wait to binge watch your Channel.
Next time use a crafty knife to slide under the stamp you want to remove from its base! Most of the time you get a clean removal!! Great ideas for organizing.
I love a drawer that closes...lol just one mind we cannot be upsetting the other drawers...lol
I love your wit, humor, and making a task a fun thing! I thoroughly enjoyed your video. Thank you for informing me of the name Peg Stamps of the long, tubular stamps. I never knew that. You have inspired me to organize "one blessed drawer at a time!" You are amazing!
I love organizing, but you made it especially FUN!! 😊💖🐑🌿🍂🌼🐞
PROGRESS not perfection...always!!
Thanks so much! 😊
I need that drawer cabinet! I'd totally have all those stamps organized by category! All florals/leaves in one drawer, animals in another, big background in a drawer, words have their drawer... So I'd know what drawer to look in for words, or flower stamps, you get the point lol. I love organizing and am totally jealous of your stamp collection and drawer system! ❤️ ❤️ Thanks for sharing Pam!
Thank you so much for inspiring me, and spurring me, to get organizing! I’ve subscribed because I love your projects, but also because I love your voice and sense of humor. When I set my UA-cam to automatically run your organizing videos one after the other, it’s like having a friend in the room with me, yakking away and keeping me amused while I work along with you. 🥰
I love Nora Jane’s peg stamps!
I keep all my peg stamps in a tall, round tin, with the images @ the top so I can easily see which is which. Like you, wooden stamps live in shallow drawers, but I designate the drawers - eg., xmas in one, oriental in another, labels in another & the super large ones go in a drawer of the IKEA map drawer cabinet. Unbacked rubber & clear stamps are all filed in A$ folders, each on a sheet of typing paper, in a plastic envelope. Again, these are sorted into catagories - xmas, mystical, home crafts, etc.. But then, I was a Chartered librarian for decades.
Pam... I can’t tell you how much I enjoy your videos! Even my husband likes when I watch ur videos bc u crack HIM up! Not only do I learn cool things but I get to laugh with you! That’s the BEST medicine and something I’m so so GRATEFUL for!
Thank you to both of you for hanging out :)
I love your metal drawers.
Lambchop with Shari Lewis ❤ we enjoyed cleaning the drawer with ya
I have all kinds of valentine's stamps too
I am in the process of organizing a new craft area, so this is amazingly helpful. I got more done while watching your video then I did the last two days. It's going to be a marathon video day with you Pam! 😀
WOW WOW WOW
This video is worth its weight in gold to me. I feel validated. I feel free. I feel connected to art. This video will be shown to my four adult daughters who do not dabble in art and throw up their hands in dispair whilst saying..." but Mom, WHY DO YOU NEED 12 MAPLE LEAF STAMPS"??? "Mom, why do you have art supplies in your kitchen cabinets and bathroom linen closet?" (I live in tiny retirement apt) This video spoke to me. thanks for sharing.
We are sisters from another mother ;)!!
Oh my, I want a craft room so bad. How fun that would be, lol if only I could give up my 7 dogs. But they are my family.
You could organize by theme...stamps of flowers in one drawer, animals in another, numbers, etc...
This can be a series! I really feel satisfied in supplies organizations😊✨
I think so too! Stay tuned for Fridays as craft organizational day!
@@ThePaperOutpost Awww🥺 I stay tune everyday for your new vids, and will always enjoy it because you surprise us everytime like new boxes of presents everyday. And if there's none for today, I just watch your past vids, always entertaining and inspiring. Thank you Pam🥰✨
All of my drawers were organized, so I got out the label maker, with your video, and labeled the drawers!
Oh yess, I have bits of tape all over.. it comes in handy on many occasions.
Good morning Pam. You are hilarious. I have tons of art supplies. Some are in my bedroom, where I draw and paint, and some are in storage. It's just like you say, if you can't see it, it doesn't exist. Sooo, watching you take inventory of what you love and use often, versus stuff that you hardly use, or don't use at all, had me realizing I need to do the same. If I had a studio area, OMG!!! it would look like your stamp drawer🤣. I'd have sketchbooks, watercolor paints, pastels, etc. on every available surface space. I'm a hoarder of art and crafting supplies 🤫🤭. I try to contain it, but that little artist monster grabs hold and it's all over. Happy to see I'm not alone.
Thank you for posting your videos. Coffee, Ms.Pam, crafting and laughs🤪🤪, is the good way to start the day. And I enjoy every single moment. Big hugs 🤗 ❤.
My weather here in jonesboro Tennessee is crazy it's been in the high 70's almost in the 80's
I love your storage ethics. lol. This has been both informative and entertaining.
Can't wait til you do more drawers...that was fun....
More to come! :)
The drawer looks sooo organized!
Use the elastics for ponytails. They don’t break down and you can get several for a dollar at the Dollar Tree.
good idea!
Yes! And they come in lots of colors!
I was thinking the very same thing.
That cabinet is the bomb! I like the peg stamps; small and takes up little room.
Update: just bought a bunch from your lady on Etsy!
I'm watching this instead of finishing sorting out my own desk that is completely full of clutter on top and also underneath 😂😂😂. Yep I'm definitely one of those crafters that always seems to get cluttered up with stuff real easily
Dear Pam this is one attractive drawer! Well done. When I had a desktop computer I used to stick all kinds of notes and post its on the screen.....you are not alone. ;-)
Girl you got it going on with those stamps
Oh my I'm jealous I wish I had 1/1000th of your craft supplies. /bows down to your crafting. /giggles
I'm pretty sure that FabriFix/FabriTac will eventually eat through the foam backing. The drawer looks awesome now! Thanks for sharing.
Nice drawer set. Wow so many cool stamps.
Really. I was thinking the same thing. I’m fairly new and only have a few
You have such a lovely collection of stamps Pam I love the peg stamps lovely to see ideas how to organise with tip tfs hugs from London xx
I haven’t laughed so much this year. Probably because I can identify totally with the problem of organisation and my midnight itchy finger. Why watch the tv when I can tune into the paper outpost. Keep it up.
You are so funny. Even making organising a treat I just about lost it when you said so disapprovingly to the number 10 "trying to jump ship, huh?" lol
I so need to clean my craft drawers ☺️😜😜. Thanks Pam for this video, you're so sweet to listen too lol. Tomorrow is craft cleaning day...
Yay!!
I want to see your birds. Love your videos!
I love watching all your videos Pam
Thanks so much for hanging out!
Awesome VALUE pam. You arehilarious. And I have the same feeling when I am able to close my craft drawers up all the way...Ahhhh Success. Thanks for much. Had fun :)
Great job, I happen to agree with you on the idea of standing your peg stamps upright. You could do that by using one of those round/hat boxes, they come in all sizes. They store awesome in a round style box. And you can stack the boxes in cake layer style. Pick one up and give it a try. I know you'll love it. That way you can see the image of stamp right away at top of box. Easy store and great fit.
Love your idea!
I need one of those drawer units in my life (at least one!)
Me too 😂
@@Denita_Wishart me three
me four !
Me five!
Me six! 😊
I have a Bakers rack in my living room and a 5 high plastic shelf unit on my sunporch. On each of these shelves, I have the Thicker Stufftainers by Stampendous holding wood mounted stamps. I sort by theme/category. House Mouse together, Christmas together. Valentine/love together. Dogs take a few boxes, though I should alphabetize by breed. Fall together. Halloween, etc. Also other holidays like Mothers day and Father's Day. If there are sentiments particular to a single holiday, those can go with the holiday rather than being in words/general sentiments. It's easy to grab a container or two to go to a class/crop/workshop. (Hard to do with a drawer unit.) Or, all supplies for a card kit/workshop can go in a box. Labeled boxes/drawers always help keep one organized. I have 5X8" sets of index card drawers for plain cardstock that size, bags and smaller mailing supplies. Inkpads in clear "fridge binz" and small embossing powders on a shelf. I watched 2 of your other stamp organization drawers today and am going to work on some of my Stufftainers today. Oh, I also take completed boxes to Officemax, turn the box upside down on a copier, and create a record of that box, one for inside the box, another for a binder.
Im sick in bed today and you made me laugh! Thank you! 💕
Great job Pam!
O my pam I love ur big craft room my craft room is my bedroom
We don't organize much on The Paper Outpost Group, but do create a ton of goodies. Everyone come check it out and join!
I love stamps and yours are amazing!
Got a kick of this!! You always make my day!
I laughed so much watching this video 🤣 We are all ‘cut’ from the cloth❣️. I had just straighten out -half- of my space but it was so rewarding. Maybe one day I’ll take a pic of it. I don’t mind the cutter but I also like the order. Very left brain vrs right brain. 😉
Wow love all ur craft making stuff ur awesome stamps my drawers are going to look like that love ur craft room love love love it
I’ve taken the rubber stamps off my big blocks and use Tack It Over and Over on my MISTI!!
Loved To-day
I want to live in your craft room 🧚🏼♂️🙋🏻♀️
I've seen tin buckets at dollar tree and target in the impulse section in the front of the store. They would be great for the peg stamps. Even short fat empty cans would be great. Rubber bands always disintegrate in the florida humidity. I put pieces of tape on the edge of the craft table. Now I have Tidy Friday with Tina at Shabbydabbydoodah and organizing with you! TFS 🥰🐞🤗
Thanks pam!!!
love ur world Pam...😀😁😊
Big hugs Michelle!
Pam you could take off rubber stamp from block and cut it down to get rid of the bulkiness.
I can listen to you talk all day😅and I absolutely love your humor🤍
Wow, thank you Sharelle!! :)
I knew the first time I came across your channel that you are the creator that I imagine my self to be...and now I know why...! When I became a serious crafter, I invested in a large wooden paper cutter like the one used in elementary school. I was an elementary school principal hence the purchase. I noticed in this video that you have a paper cutter, also.
Hello from ky again....
Iv used a lot of boxs to store stuff...i love boxs..🤗❤
They are so darn handy!
Buy that baby boy, some steps......my little multipoo, has steps Everywhere!!! Love for the PUPS!!!! :)
"If you can't see it, it doesn't exist" - YES - I reorganize now and then and find things that had ceased to exist temporarily, and then, like magic, they exist again!
True. I rebember the Spanish saying: "Ojos que no ven, corazón que no siente". We use it almost for everything.
Very aware of the phenomenon. Bills are one of those things that magically reappear-- right after they are past due. Because of it I tend to accumulate a pile of stuff around my chair. Need to do, have to do, want to do, might want to do. . . If I put it away, I will forget about it. 🙄
I just loved this!!! You are a hoot!
Hi Paula Parkison! It's my pleasure! :)
Inspirational!!
Such yummy stamps. Wish I had just a smidge of those. They are so expensive.
I like seeing your stash as you are organizing ... I do feel better now that you have organized one drawer.. now we have at least 50 to go?!
"Trying to jump ship"🤣🤣🤣
Your draws are awesome love your stamps sooooo awesome.
Thanks, they are a beast that needed to be handled ;)
@@ThePaperOutpost lol yes well good luck with that.
Hi Pam. I truly enjoy working with you. Learn a lot and have a lot of fun doing it. Regarding the rubber bands around the peg stamps: Have you ever tried making a band with sewing elastic? Or maybe a piece of ribbon or fabric with a section of sewing elastic to join the ends and make it a ring like a rubber band? Or corded elastic knotted to join the ends? I hate melted rubber bands. Remind me of worms dried onto the sidewalk a little while after a rain shower. YUK!
no other youtuber has made me laugh like u do :D :D :D !!! u r so awesome!!!u inspire me!! :D .thank u :D
Loved this...need to follow your lead!
Use hair ties instead of rubber bands. You know the ones covered in material but still stretch to put your ponytail in. They last and work great
Great start on organizeing your stamps!!😊👍
Thanks! It all starts with the first stamp :)
@@ThePaperOutpost
Yes it does 😊
A round Christmas tin would work to keep them standing up. I have collected all sorts of tins over the years and I am finding new uses for them!
Great idea! I guess I would just have to eat the cookies first ;) All int he name of organization, right :)
This was good to watch, since I'm organizing my craftroom too. One tip, I buy a bag full of ponytail holders at Dollar Tree and use them instead of rubber bands for most things. They are limited in how far they stretch, but at least they don't break or disintegrate.
Wow!
Elastics . . . So funny. I call them rubber bands and the first time I heard them called “elastics” was a boss of mine who was from Boston and I didn’t know what the heck he was talking about! 😂
Pam! I just placed my very first peg stamp order!! With norajane!! I enjoy you & your videos!! Thank you so much for sharing!!
Such fun lol
Pam, you made my day. I’m on the COVID roller coaster right now. So, as I had to sit perfectly still (due to my queasy tummy) I watched you organize your (1 of many) stamp drawer. You made me smile numerous times. I love listening to you and learning from you. I can’t wait to feel like crafting nonstop again. Meanwhile, you’ll keep me entertained and my mind off my woes. You’re the best! Thanks!
Where else can you watch someone re organize thief craft space and enjoy it so much?
I needed a motivational kick in the pants. Going to go clean....after your video! Love it, thanks!
The rubberbands dry out and break...Lambchop & Sherry Lewis. I would give my right arm for that Fairy stamp you have 🤩. No matter how much I organize everything is still a mess. I NEED A CABINET OF DRAWERS LIKE YOURS!!! 😁 TFS.
Sherry Lewis! Thats her name! Thanks :) !! Beware even little drawers! Tiny mysterious gremlins can hide in there and mess things up ;) Happens to me all the time :0)
@@ThePaperOutpost 😂 thanks for the warning 😁.
It can be a disaster even if you have drawers. It just is what it is. 😆
I live in a seniors apartment in Canada a small 1 bedroom . I have a sewing machine set up and when I want to craft I set up a folding table with little storage. I so envy you all the space and all the supplies. But you make such awesome art with it that I love to see and try. Thanks Pam you always cheer me up
Hi Catherine! Sounds like if you love to craft then it is imperative to move out your finished products or they will take over, am I right? This allows more crafty supplies to come in :) Oh the joy!! Sounds like you already knew this ;)
@@ThePaperOutpost Oh so true It is true joy
Phew, late just made it Pam😊❤️😊
