June 4-10, 2018, we traveled around the island of Corfu (Greece).
Corfu (or Kerkyra) is the northernmost and second largest of the picturesque Greek island in the Ionian sea.
All this time we lived in the most beautiful place of the island, Paleokastritsa (Paleokastritsa) - see my movie:

Pelekas is a picturesque traditional Corfiot village, located 13 kilometers from Corfu town, in the centre of the island, near the Central West coast of Corfu, at an altitude of 270 meters above sea level. Pelekas in Greek means crane. Visitors of this cosy village can fully enjoy the national kaloritom - narrow streets, small churches, pristine nature, little touched by civilization, silence and beautiful panoramic views of the mountain slopes will not leave you indifferent. On a cliff overlooking the village is an observation deck "the throne of the Kaiser".
In the village pelekas is full of traditional taverns where you can taste traditional Greek and Corfiot cuisine as well as several tourist shops.
Under the village of pelekas and 2 km, is one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in Corfu - Villages (Kontogialos Beach which means short Bay), on the map he referred to as Pelekas Beach.
The sandy beach of pelekas is notable for its clean and fine sand where you can lie for hours under a Greek sun. Tourists say that it is best to relax from the urban bustle.
The beach has all the usual on all the beaches, sun loungers, parasols, changing cabins, cafes, bars, restaurants, hotels, as well as equipment for water sports.
