- Atishi took charge as Delhi Chief Minister today. But she refused to sit in the Chief Minister's designated chair. Invoking Bharat from Ramayana, Atishi said the CM's chair belongs to Arvind Kejriwal and she will keep it empty during the few months she is in the CM office.
But that gesture could feed the perception of her being a "dummy CM".
Recall the case of O Panneerselvam, who twice filled in for J Jayalalithaa. He confirmed his "dummy CM" status when he refused to even enter the CM's designated office or occupy the CM's designated seat in the Assembly.

@@Prajjwalpandey143 because according to our constitution we elect our mla and then they elect cm and whoever they select he or she should respect his position , power and people. Resignation can show morality or your thoughts but once you are elected then you are for the people by the people.

I think what AAP is doing is important whether you call it drama but spreading a narrative that Arvind Kejriwal will remain CM is very important for upcoming elections for not creating confusion amongst voters and also AAP is a very small party even though it’s a national party so having many big leaders can hurt the party more than helping it… so initially it’s good for party to have just a few big leaders and as party will grow it will create more leaders like Bhagwant Mann in Punjab… Ultimately if people voting are understanding what AAP is doing then journalists or analysts analysing anything doesn’t matter… proved in all Delhi elections Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha… people know who is better and where to pull them… and this happened in this Lok Sabha where BJP was pulled way more by people… and I can sense AAP will comeback stronger because of its smart up to mark and up to date developmental politics… and it’s really on the ground situation right now..
