- Back with another of these Motor Nuclear model kits. A bit smaller than their much heavier diecast brethren, these are still pretty impressive models at a fraction of the price.
Quite a joy to build up and with a nice heft due to the diecast joints, these figures already look great straight out of the box- no glue or stickers are necessary!
While there may not be as many optional parts included as the bigger versions, this version is still able to transform into bird mode (with nice and large supporting base included) at almost a quarter of the cost. Not bad.
I got mine from ShowZ, but I've seen these trickling in to US distribution, so keep your eyes peeled!
Ambitious construction! Nice!
Now there's a right and proper looking super robot there.
I think the rainbow effect wings really help seal the deal on putting it on the super robot side of things!
i'm mind blown by this lines of models. I Got BaiQi and wow. Bandai would charge super premium for this stuff.
Their diecast are even more impressive, but yeah, they're a great deal for what you get.
My BaiQi is sitting on my dining table waiting for his turn to be worked on!
Not sure its been asked but if you have to choose one which would be the favourite. Love your work
Probably the Bai Qi, the yellow one that I've been needing to post. That kit took the frame of the Cao Ren and upgrades it, made it more poseable, and made for an even more impressive kit!
Are you planning to get the Bai Qi too?
Also btw, you can swap out Cao Ren's sword blade with the beam effect part and convert it to an energy sword.
Does this version have the two red and white swords that can combine to make a spear?
sadly it doesn't- that's only on the larger metal build figure.
Cool model, but not for me. But I do have a question for you the store you go to what is it's name?. The reason I am asking is ower store for some reason can no longer get victric models so we are looking for another place to order from and you have had them on the channel thanks 🙏😇🇺🇸
In the US? Brigade Games. They're actually one of the distributors for Victrix in the States.

@@ObscuritiesinMiniature thanks for the info, US yes .
Is this the regular version or the refined/elite?
So the metal version of it is taller and heavier right ?
Pretty much- there's a few extra weapons as well, but considering how long ago it was released and how much the price has continued to climb, the kit is the better option.
Or if you want to really go all- in, they've got a new diecast figure coming out that's probably going to end up twice the size of this model and clock in at over 500 dollars US!
is this kit intermediate friendly
I'd say as long as you have competent tools, a large enough workspace, time, and patience, anyone can handle it!
There's nothing overtly complex. A lot of the attachment points where the pieces are on the plastic gates will need cleaning off after removing, but a good pair of clippers will take care of that.
The only real challenge involved here is just the time component- there's a lot of parts to build and get through!
@@ObscuritiesinMiniature I just have a cheap Amazon toolkit
As long as they have some good clippers in the set, you will have no problems! Go for it!
Where did you buy from
My go to shops are usually Gundamit and Big Bad Toy Store. I know there's other sites out there that carry these, but those are my favorites due to prices, shipping, and inventory.
where did you buy it?
ShowZ. It was like 60 bucks with shipping.
ok PG = 1:60 MG =1:100 HG\RG\HGUCSG = 1:144
The diecast figures these guys make are 1:72, just to make the scales even more confusing! Technically this is a non-scale kit, but it's definitely within the realms of a MG/ 1:100 sized kit.
