SAME my favorite bands are
1.Three days grace (I know them for so long now and love them so much)
2.skillet (same here I know them so long and love them)
3. Five fingers death punch (know them science a year and their music is aws)
4. Thousand foot krutch (just a fabulous band know them science one and a half year)
5. Get scared (wow their music is so great!)
6. Black veil brides (know them science 4 months and the music I heard from them is fabulous)

There’s nothing better then finding a video of two of your favorite songs by two of your favorites bands being a mashup.
I always wondered why these songs sounded so damn familiar, then i've learned that both songs are produced by Gavin Brown and Howard Benson.

Finally someone's made a true hybrid of both songs! I've seen mashups of this before but they typically botch the tempo or make it lean too much towards one of the bands. This is perfect!

Honestly, there's a lot of potential for artists if they mixed some of the lyrics of their previous songs together in the right way. The way this is edited, even though these are 2 different artists, the lyrics mash very well the way they're mostly alternating. A good example of an artist mixing 2 songs together entirely would be the Centuries/Immortals mashup done by Sam Tsui and Kurt Hugo Schneider, (even though I'm not a fan of it being non-rock) the lyrics are woven together perfectly. With Skillet's arsenal they could easily mix together lyrics from previous songs, change the background a bit to make it a mix as well, and they would make a seemingly new tune (or even do something like the Crush 40 song Sonic Youth, where it has lines in it that reference previous Sonic songs, even ones that they didn't sing!). This is honestly something I've tried to experiment with for the various Power Rangers themes, trying to make a version that holds attributes from previous ones, and one that could easily fit with any generation of the rangers, new or old.
Seriously though, imagine a Skillet mashup between Undefeated and Feel Invincible, those are 2 Skillet songs that have similar background music and have lyrics that would work well together.
Yea, and i love how its seperated and yet merged, they did a great job with it and didnt do unnecessary overlap like in other versions i've seen

It’s funny you say that I was messing around on my guitar earlier and accidentally sang the animal I have become chorus while playing monster and had to look this up to see if anyone had done it

I can play both of these songs individually on the guitar and I actually tried playing both parts together while listening to this and I think they're actually in the same key. And the song structure is practically the same. Right, it goes verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus, but even the intro to both songs start with one instrument, then the others come in until the drum kick in, and the singer starts singing. It's amazing. This mashup is so good and fits so well.
The rhythm and tone of the songs is basically the same beat, I love this combo between the songs

Ps this sounds like an argument between almost accepting being a monster and wanting to be a monster

A mix of two nostalgic and awesome songs from two equally great bands. Funny how both songs are written differently yet are about the same thing.
BEST MASHUP EVER!
This is done expertly!! Most mashups just use lyrics from one song and melody from another, but you managed to intervene the music and the lyrics with each other and created a beautiful musical braid.
This, makes me never want to listen to either song by themselves ever again

I realized today how close these songs are, I was trying to find one of my favorite parts of a song, the reverse guitar part near the end of monster, but I kept singing "animal I have become" and I'm just like "this breakdown isn't the one I love...what song am I thinking of?"

Its actually pretty artistic with the two competing voices. If there is a music video it should be two people literally becoming monsters and dealing with it in different ways one already giving up and having no shame in it and the other using his own monster to fight the other guy
