I used to have epilepsy, and this video really hit home for me. The 'monster' felt like a symbol of my epilepsy-it controlled my life, made me black out, and put me through a lot, including a surgery I was scared to face. Thankfully, the surgery was a success, and I’m now seizure-free. Watching this again reminds me of how I overcame my own 'monster' and how much strength it took to get here. Nine Lashes' World We View is one of the best albums top to bottom in that genre regardless of "Christian" label or not. Personally, I think the fact that the genre basically requires a lack of obscenities and somewhat regulates content, it forces the writers to find something that is slightly more meaningful than generic "my girlfriend broke up with me so I got drunk" trope that sometimes happens in rock.
