- Hello everyone,
In this episode we have Charles and his awesome civic eg. His love for this car grew thanks to a family member when he was younger. Many years later he finds himself loving the same cars. I love the fact that he chose a civic as his dream car when he was in high school. I am even more glad that he ended up building his car. Sometimes we are not ready to build a car but the right opportunity presents itself and we must take it! I hope you all enjoy this awesome interview and this amazing car. 300k on the chassis on this car but it has been practically been rebuild again. 300k miles to go without a hiccup. #automotiveanatomy

I'm only 2 minutes into the video, but its nice to see someone my age still doing this. I totally get the "I'm not an OG but I'm not new either", I suddenly don't feel so alone lol.
haha thanks for the love
My old daily. I’m glad it’s still around and refreshed very nicely. I would’ve done the same thing if I kept it. 🤙🏽
that's crazy. Matt told me you commented. What made you recognize it?
@@superdupereg license plate is the dead giveaway.
@@Djouiji ahhh ok . I wish I knew where my first EG was haha.
@@superdupereg another thing is the sir2 1pc eg6 spoiler. Only a handful of eg owners in SoCal that I know didn’t have one. In case you didn’t know. If you didn’t replace those side mirrors. Those are actual eg6 power folding mirrors just need the switch and wiring done. I’ve already swapped out the glass. 😂
@@Djouiji lmao wtf Matt never said anything about the mirrors hahah. Thanks for the scoop on that 👍
Humble like Jesus. Love it, that Civic Hatchback is sweeeeet
Sweet eg and yessss, I watched knight rider all the time back then! On my 5th birthday (1985) parents got me knight rider power wheels car, loved that car lol
I had a metal lunchbox haha
@@superdupereg I remember those!
Knight Industries Two Thousand baby!😎👌
That probably is one of the prettiest eg I've seen
That EG is BUILT AWESOME!!!! I have a black 92 EG and would love to get it like this one!!!! Keep doing what you do!!!
Keep at it brotha!
Dude that’s one clean Ride Bro 👍🏻
I’ve been watching your videos for a long time! I wish you were in Washington. I wish there was someone here to interview my hatchback! I love your channel bro! Keep it up!
I love Washington and cannot wait to go back Tay
@@AutomotiveAnatomy Hit me up if you do!!!!!
Omg, egs like this make me want one again!
Goes to show you that there are ways to modifying your vehicle and still be on the legal side of the guidelines to this state . What a great build and all legal as he said he didn’t want to deal with the tickets or hassle. Well said . . The Power of Dreams .
Very true man. It can always be done right.
I'm currently rebuilding a 93 Si Hatch to OEM+ spec. Keeping the Z6 single cam since Bseries VTEC motors are crazy expensive right now
If you can find them. Also, that flood from several years back screwed the supply up.
i was gifted a 1992 hatch si and its my daily. it sat for 12 years and i love the car to death i cant wait to repaint it and make it look clean again the sun made it looks so bad :(
Really having a 92-95 Civic hatch as a Dream Car is not crazy. It just means your rational and Dowm to earth so to speak. It was a dream of mine too, along with a 88-91 CRX Si.
Dope man. Thanks for watching. Your support is appreciated.
It's what my '72 Z600 aspired to be.
Super Clean! Always wanted this when I was in high school back then with a gsr or type r swap.
This is definitely a Keep the vision. Keep the passion. Keep the fire lit type of vid. Absolutely incredible Civic man
have you seen the channels from new england motorsports? sonic203 and jroc860, two great honda builders blowing up atm
I HAVE MY GROOVE BACK 🤣🤣🤣
Clean eg!
This dude mentioned 3 of the cars I was in love with as a child lol. What a great interview! Really clean hatch.
A lot of us love the same cars man. We all have good taste lol
Now I don’t feel that bad because I’m foe-OH and have a eg/kswap. Good content and clean eg
It’s crazy I was just liking his Instagram couple hours ago. Clean hatch!!
Another good video. One day I plan to have one of my vehicles featured by someone. Keep up the videos!
Those TE37 look amazing on the blue paint.
Mines got 410,000miles. Still so fun to drive and the evolution is endless
I love this EG 😍
Beautiful. Super clean.
I've never been a fan of white wheels but this civic looks amazing!
They are hard to maintain but they look great when clean
My Harvard Blue 92 Si Hatch, my Seattle Silver 92 Accord EX Wagon, and my 2001 Dodge 3500 Maxivan (300k mi.) all are clean, unmodded, and in need of some delicious tlc. I dig your channel. My 1st Honda was THE 1ST HONDA CAR in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley in 1972 (yeah, I'm a geezer born in '51...Oh, gee)...the AWESOME Z600 Coupe, blue, 2 cylinder, 598cc. air cooled, 4 speed, 49hp, 52 mpg. Very xlnt interview, the EG Si owner is mighty cool and significantly, you let him talk... and he obviously digs Honda's intent and design ethos, the 5th Derivative (look it up) and so avoided ruining the mfr style and tech choices. Many thanks to the owner/Charles and to you for pursuing and catching OUR Honda dreams. To paraphrase an old ad: "You meet the nicest people driving Hondas" PEACE.
Super chill interview. Love the Blue!!
❤The 92 one of the Most sought After Models keep them clubbed up 🔐 Clean 🧼 car🧼🧼🧼
Damn, this is so krispy. 👌🥶
Time & money 🤑🤑🤑 Mi esposa me dice , ahora que compraste ! Llevo 3 an'os con mi proyecto 🙀🙀🙀
Awesome interview! Killing it Compa! Perron el civic i may not comment all the time but always watch and leave my like 👍carnal👌 Saludos y bendiciones🤝🙏.
Appreciate the support man. Cuidense.
awesome eg so tidy great find
Thank you buddy! I appreciate the support.
this is beautiful car is like new
Very nice and great color
Rice is coming back baby!
Very well done.
This guy is funny and nice civic!!
I hate to say it but at 30 years old, 300k or near it will be common for stock/stockish 5-6g civics. Not quite like 4runners but close.
Body flexes alot after 300k miles.
Beauty.
CLEEAAAN!
Clean. OG. 👍🙏
i would love this car for myself lmao
Time to upgrade your accord to an 8thgen coupe lol. Time to evolve in the game 😂
Fun fact, Mr. Feeny is the voice of KiTT
nice build ac barres thats how we do it front strut bar ?
Great video, btw people usually confused the chassis code from the 1993 to 1995 honda civic hatchback. Usdm is EH and jdm is EG. Even the si version is a EH3 in Usdm versions.
92-95 and people call them eg on purpose. Just like people say ek coupe etc etc. we know it’s not correct but still do it.
@@mikeysbladeworks1000 spot on. Def know it's not technically correct but it just sounds better is more recognizable when said imo
@@superdupereg why do that, some people don't even know it's the wrong chassis code. You can't just call all the chassis by the jdm because he lives in Usdm. You can't call it eg coupe because Japan never got the coupes. I live in Usdm, when I hear eg I think of the sedan because that is where we call them here. Imo it adds confusion and complexity. It's the same thing with the efs that is the hatchback, Ed is sedan, ejs are the coupes. Ek is the hatchback of 1997.
@@keitaparada1497 Not sure for all Civic generations. Example, for USDM 98 Civics. Most if not all models are designated as EJ for the body code. Not just for coupes.
@@redonevia8642 you are wrong and right at the same time, it was only from 1996 to 2000, the chassis codes are based on year, trim, and generation. The regular hatchback were ej6 because it came out in 1996. The sedan is a EJ8, sedan was introduced in 1998. The coupe is ej7 because of a trim. So you are right about that year about ej not to the coupe but it's only with that generation generation.

That car is clean....If your selling it Let me know.
I got a white 92 exactly like that one but not nearly as nice but mine is all original. Got ant ideal where I could find a genuine distributor for it?
i always felt like in a honda if you are getting close 150-200 whp its gonna be a fun car. Not gonna be a fast race car but fun none the less. I really mean in the golden years of honda from 90 to 2000...the newer hondas are OK but i feel like they lost something.
I've got the same car but not as nice. Where did he get it painted?
Comments on my mom iPad now ♥️👺
