I do know whow to play guitar, but never played rocksmith before, can I just skip to the hardest difficult? or do I need the easiest to get used to the view, thats my main problem I guess. Also does this work as an interface? meaning theres an option of freeplay or something like that so I can play whatever i want?

I'm surprised at how fun (not to mention, difficult) this looks to play. Too bad the cover itself sucks some major balls, though.
I think the kse version is more fun to play but the dio version is a better song in general
love these songs i just cant solo for shit, nothing fast anyways can pull off the likes of billy talent etc but anything filthy like this or iron maidens etc just cant get, and no idea of even where to start

I'm really curious why they released this. Yes, this cover blows donkeys, but that's not my point. It's basically the same song as the original (there's some embellishments, of course) and if you like the song wouldn't you have already gotten the original, so why would anyone (who's not getting EVERY song) get this one? I don't get it. Surely this band has other songs that would make suitable DLC.
I guess what I'm saying is what makes this version so significant. Anyone who learns, *really* learns the original, would be in the right position to play their own personal cover just fine. Learn this, and you'd be covering a cover.

alexandrajade27 I guess one reason is that this version is in Drop C, while the original is in standard, so unless you can convert in your head, you're learning two different approaches to playing it. Also if you're playing the game as your only amp, I personally think this version is more fun. I bought the KSE pack, so I have this version and not the original. I honestly enjoy this version more. They break what I see as the monotony of most of the song with, as you said, some embellishments, and I just like the sound of their solo more. TL;DR Music isn't objective, gurl.
This cover is tight. I like it and I like the original too. This one's just more fun to play. You needa relax. People have different opinions than you.

This version of the song is complete shit. Dio's version is just a classic masterpiece while Killswitch Engage simply tried to make it heavy metal and made it sound like shit.
