+Rare pepe ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) go to a luthier to get your guitar properly set up. string height, intonation, string action/ neck relief, and pick-up height. intonation is also a funny thing, some people are heavy handed and that can throw intonation off. you kinda have to know your playing style when you go for set-up.
SieraExtincion i envy you i still cant do tremolo picking it just to hard for me i can do the downstrokes however when i do the upstrokes my pick just gets stuck in the strings

Dude, Rocksmith is fucking awesome. I didnt even know how to hold a guitar when I started and I learned a song (Hypnotize by the same band as in this video) all the way through by the end of the 3rd week playing
+Zesq Position the pick on the string, but just turn your wrist, not your arm. As soon as the pick hits the string, make it go back up and hit it again immediately. Keep your pick close to the string and only turn your wrist, doing it correctly will make it much easier to go faster and sound cool.
Darren Wood keep the lower part of your arm on the guitar, don't move the entire arm, just your hand. with a bit of practice you can strum really quickly. BlekNet is right as well, both methods work
I tried to mimic the speed of the guy, now my wrist sores. I just can't keep up that fast. A better example, I can't play The Number of the beast's intro, going back and forth between strings its too much.
