You are level 8 with 3 skills. Its definitely slower at the beginning, but gets a lot more involved at 10+, incluidng group combos. Especially the group content/dungeons/bosses.
Just started watching. Brother, you are playing a Pally. By level 2 they get a healing strike that uses Readiness. Great self heal. By level 7 you have a heal that uses wrath and an ability that gives you 750 wrath on a 1 minute cooldown.
All that is to say, you are almost unkillable solo. I've been fighting a blue, and gotten jumped by an orange. Finished the fight at 2/3 readiness, 1700 wrath, and full health.
I fear nothing on a Pally. Except for the inevitable beat down with the nerf bat they have coming.
i also started pally iam happy with my choice, only negative about game is the lack of map
*spots enemy considered a challenge* "This guy will 100% kill me"
*Spots enemy considered deadly* "Reckon I can take him" *dies*
Bruh
There will be a basic map added someday
Wait why does this game actually look good
All I've ever heard is how shit this game is
But it gives me that same vibe I used to get when I first played some older mmos
New age gamers are just obsessed with graphics and instant gratification. As someone who didn't rlly play the og mmos this game has been quite fun for being in a true alpha early access phase. Lots of placeholders but it's still good fun.
@@dustinvanwinkle5078 Hmmm gen Z calls it brain rot I think? The complete lack of patience and impulse control from being raised on tiktok and porn. Feel bad for them, really
people dragged this game for being "vaporware" and when it came out and wasn't they proceeded to still shit on it lmao..
@ Yeah I've seen some are equivocating? Apparently it was never going to see the light of day, then the goalpost was moved to "will never see full release". I'm just sittting on the Steam buy page apprehensive over whether or not I should play. I was just confused at first, but I _think_ a lot of people just want to avoid taking an L on dismissing it
@@SophieBonner-z1t I was weary like you, but I bit the bullet and bought it. Yes it is in Early Acces, feels like an Alpha in many ways, but the core gameplay is already there. I've been playing it everyday since I bought it. Unlike modern MMOs where you can solo a lot of the content, in Pantheon you end up socializing a lot by design. No map and you're lost? Ask people around you or server chat. Sometimes I end up in a conversation, and then a dungeon group afterwards. It's a breath of fresh air honestly.
This reminds me of FFXI.
It's early access and there's a few VERY large zones that you can explore. Even in this state the game isn't small, and your progress actually matters. Ppl who lean on "but the graphics bad" are so cringe. I'd rather have an awesome MMO with moderate graphics than having an MMO with "awesome" graphics and bad gameplay. Do you honestly think ppl play GW2 because of graphics? or WoW? or any other old MMO for the past 10 years? None of them have "good" graphics, they are aging and yet ppl still play them so stop talking nonsense.
Oh, and Pantheon being 40$ is definitely worth it, just be careful, because this ain't roll fest and each XP bar matters so is your progress. Should you decide to try this game and if you like the play style and all that, that's 500+ hrs easily for you, even more. as they update the game each week and releasing new stuff.
I'm an original Everquest player and after several attempts of trying to please the cry babies, I had to quit. This game is a breath of fresh air.
I was going to jump in the game but dam the graphic alone is a acquired taste geez feels like year 2000
its so much fun, don't let that dissuade you
I thought the placeholder graphics were something I was going to have to work around, but I actually really enjoy the environments and art direction. Its a very nice looking game despite the lofi.
id say give it a try you might enjoy it
literally 2 years till launch XD they still have 2 final passes for graphics coming before then. thats not their absolute main focus. their main focus is making sure everything works and there is a game to play first, and then making it look pretty within reason towards launch. then final checks and we have a great game!
Addons like Questie streamline the gameplay and ruin the immersion
Woah slow compared to FINAL FANTASY? Damn, that is slow
To be fair, FFXIV has pretty high APM when min/maxing damage in end game
FF14 gets insane eventually. Try playing a max lvl ninja.
