These people of the Khasi & Jaiantia hills have music in their genes. No wonder Uncle Neil has trained the Shillong Choir so so well. I saw him training these young people at the Loretta School Chapel and what he said to them still rings in my ears he said “REMEMBER YOU ARE NOT SING FOR YOURSELF *YOU* ARE SINGING FOR THE LORD” the emphasis he laid on the word YOU was fascinating.

This is sheer magic to the ears! Great voice, great orchestra, great melody, superb attire, perfect sets and lighting too. And most importantly, excellent videography and editing that made it more interesting by the silent dialogues (in words) during the cross retrospect transition video shots that aptly reinforces its theme mentioned towards the beginning of the video - “An Artist has to also be... So awesome. :) I was staying in one of the homestays at Shillong, massively sick and I could hear choir practice in the afternoon in Shillong. made me feel so much better...so much healing...just wonderful voices who helped me heal...so thank you to all those who sang that afternoon...and thank you for this group who made me remember that wonderful moment :)
