I love your lpatop case! mine is falling apart so I've sellotaped on some of the edges but I always struggle at finding a design I think I would really like, so the first one I had was just blue and see through, and the one I have now has a paint splash design. Your room is so cute as well! and nice that you have your own closet area! I have a little rug by my bed too! xx
Hi Megan! Thank you for making this video. I’m seriously considering attending UCSD but one thing that I really would like to know is how are the dorms at ERC? I tried to research it but not much is coming up. I’m a germaphobe and would really like to know how clean they are? Especially the bathrooms? Is it possible for you to send me pictures by chance? Thank you so so much!!
Florence H USD and UCSD are two different schools. University of San Diego is a private college near the Linda Vista area of San Diego but UC San Diego is in the la Jolla area. :)
hey, I’m applying to USD! if u don’t mind me asking, what were your gpa & test scores? i’m at that point where i don’t think i’ll get in anywhere ahahaha
-- don’t worry! That’s how I felt too. Just apply to as many schools as you can, even if you don’t know where you want to go. My gpa was a 3.98 but my test scores were kinda low. I was involved in a lot of extracurriculars though! You got it.
hey! I'm an incoming freshman at USD and found this super helpful so thank you!! Is Maher hall anything like this? because it also said triple or quad rooms and I was just wondering if the rooms there are as spacious as this :) thank you!!
Yayy congrats girl! ❤️❤️❤️❤️✨ The difference is that In Maher each room has its own bathroom and you also get a really big closet but all 3/4 roommates have to share. Also, one floor rooms boys and the other rooms girls, whereas in founders, it is a girls only dormitory with a bridge connected to the boys dorms in Camino. I will say though the rooms are not as spatial as in founders. We get such spacious rooms because we don’t have a bathroom or “walk in closet”. Maher rooms can be a little tight, especially when all roommates are sharing the bathroom and closet. In founders for the quad rooms each roommate gets their own closet, dresser, desk, bed, etc. there are pros and cons to all the housing options on campus but it just depends on what you prefer! If you want a lot of space I would recommend founders or missions A! Honestly, in my opinion, missions A is the best option because you get a bit of everything that most dorms don’t include together. For example, in missions A you get the space, closet, dresser, desk, living room area, your own bathrooms, etc! They are also newly renovated so super nice!
Hi Megan, are all Founder dorms as spacious as yours? Even for triples? Also is there the possibility of a triple having bunk beds in founders? Love your videos ❤️❤️❤️ so inspiring for when I move into founders ☺️❤️
NotAUsualFamily Hi!☺️ no, only the quads are this spacious. Triples are a little smaller and have a bunk bed and a single bed. Thank you so much for watching. ☺️☺️
Random potato no, I was in a quad, so there are four people in one room in the quads in founders! :) not every dorm is a quad or set up the same though.
@@meganhuggett1207 Oh wait , do you get to pick your dorms or at least , the building we want? (Or are they assigned?) And are most dorms for more than 1 person?
No you don’t get to pick. You submit a preference for if you want a single, double, triple, or quad but that’s also not necessarily promised to you either. They placed you based off of your LLC (living learning community) so whatever your major is they place you with people who are going down the same path or something similar. Missions A are the nicest dorms but idk what LLC they are. Missions A and B usually you are in a double (you can also be in a single) but you have two other suitemates and a common living room area and two bathrooms. Founders (which is the one I was in) has triples or quads and there are communal bathrooms and a lounge area. Maher is usually a triple or quad with a shared bathroom in each room. Sorry if that doesn’t make sense, but moral of the story, you don’t get to choose your building or room, it’s based off of your LLC.
Love how much this is decked out! I did not design my room at allll

The dorm got air conditioning?
Vlone Jerome sadly, no. Most of the buildings at USD don’t have air conditioning.
Are there rooms for one person? XD I don't expect it to be as spacious though if it's for one person.
