- hi everybody!! i hope you like my college move in vlog! if you didn't know, i'm a sophomore but this is my first year living on campus because of covid. last year, all of my classes were online and i lived at home. i'm super excited to be in a new environment. however, i was extremely homesick at first. i still am a little bit, but it's been getting a lot better. if you are in my same position, please know that you are not alone and that things will get better. ♥️

Not exactly in the same situation.. I graduate next June and I’m most likely going away lol. But that’s so real, because I also used to love these videos when I was little (because I love decorating). Now I get to do it for real. Time moves too fast😅🥺

The first year is always really scary and sad but in the end its really fun and its always awesome to meet new people and decorate your dorm.

I totally understand how you feel! I am so much older than you but whenever i move and have to get used to the new environment and everything it's not easy at all. It feels so scary that i am alone here and have to do everything on my own. Being an adult is not an easy thing!
I’ve been watching her for so long and seeing her go off to college is amazing!! I’m so happy for her and I just know she’ll be doing great soon! She seemed so happy with her roommate but I also love how she said that she did cry and was very emotional because a lot of you tubers just record all the happy and perfect things that aren’t reality! i’m a senior in college right now but i was so so so homesick my first year especially my first semester. it can feel so lonely at times but you just need to stick it out because it is so worth it! it definitely gets better

My room is my comfort place and I am so nervous to feel like I’m at a sleepover for the first week or so. This helped me feel like other people understand

Im the first day youre stressed and very sad and angry but in the end of the day its amazing cuz youre laying on a ׁׅ᥎ׁׅꫀׁׅܻ݊ꭈׁׅᨮׁׅ֮ᨮׁׅ֮ᨮׁׅ֮ cozy bed and its really fun to meet new people and decorate your dorm!

It gets better!!! Moving away from home for the first time is so draining & scary, and you have every right to feel sad or nervous. And sometimes it’ll be lonely, the first year is always the hardest to settle in. But in this first year you’ll learn new things about yourself you never knew & you’ll figure out how to adapt. But for now just take things day by day, really prioritize taking care of yourself instead of distracting yourself! Also there are so many resources on campus, #1 rule of college is to ALWAYS ASK QUESTIONS. No matter how stupid the question might seem or if you’re nervous to ask, there are people there willing to help you , because every year 100s or thousands of kids move into college and have just as much of a difficult time as you might. Every part of this experience is normal & all your feelings are valid ✨💖 I promise it gets better, for now just allow yourself to feel how you need to. & try new things, have fun, be yourself! - from a 23 year old graduate 😌
One of the first Move-in vlogs that I feel shows the reality of how hard moving in can be! Love that you are open about being homesick and how hard it can be at first! Definitely is a struggle!
I can relate, my college years are decades ago, less than an hour away, but the homesickness happened.

It felt overwhelming at first. All new routines, foods, people, classes, computes, dorms, etc. It became easier with time.
Hey Girl loved ur video! I just wanted to say thank you so so much for showing a nervous/homesick side. Normally UA-camrs only show the excited side and it made me feel so alone when I moved in as a freshman in college this year. This video was very relieving to watch and it eased my anxiety a little bit! It is nice to know other ppl have a hard time leaving home. :)
Did you get very homesick when you moved in? Curious because ever since i went to a camp last year I’ve had a problem with homesickness it is the worst feeling, but I’m still young so I’m going to try to improve especially by the time i get to college 💕

You are not alone I have long ways to college but me knowing I'm the oldest and someday ill be leaving for college breaks my heart and I also want t make my family proud cause i didn't have the best lifestyle growing up and for me growing into adult hood I do not want to experience that again so keep going and just know you have a lot of people who look up to you and have you as your inspiration.
im starting my first year of high school this september, but for the past 2.5 years, i would watch peoples dorm move ins a couple months before the school year starts bc i was thinking of the future, but now that im entering high school i feel like its happeninng to fast and soon ill be doing the same thing..

I am going to high school next year and here where I live we dont have a high school so I need to go to other city and move from home. I am scared because I spend my most time at home with my mom and I am scared of new people and i dont know how it will go. I can go home in weekends but it's still scary. I am scared that I won't have that same good relationship with my mom that I have now..
